The Yankees are fumbling this so badly. They want soto, but will be putting KIDS in these positions? Soto said he wants teams to SPEND when he signs. The Yankees all they have to do is show him they will spend… Mets are going to spend with or without Soto. Yankees should do the same. Yankees are going to have a WORSE team than last year. @@VeVettR yes the age most definitely factors in. He’s 3-5 years younger than most players when they enter their free agency. This was his best season and you can easily make the argument that he’s only going to get better. So he’s not better than Judge and Ohtani? The two best players in the game and generational talents in their own right. If you could pick one player in the game to take a big at bat for you, you’re taking Soto no doubt.

@@362chop we had 2/3 ROY finalists. Volpe’s not nearly as good as we expected offensively but is still going to be a consistent 3-4 WAR player every year. Schmidt is a very solid middle of rotation arm. King is arguably a top 10 pitcher in baseball (who they used to trade for Soto). And Dominguez WILL hit at the big league level and be a good player in this league. He’s only 21 and half the fanbase thinks the kid can’t play based off of a 2 week sample size lol.
