Why do I have to activate the stroke parameter for Illustrator-made shapes? Why does the program convert an Illustrator file into "kind of a" shape, but not fully a shape, with all the parameters that other shapes have? Why is the stroke parameter optional?

Not that I don't want to learn, but could you eventually just ditch all these complex methods to add a dashed stroke to a shape, and just import everything from Illustrator? Any experience from other users?

Ok so if the gradient points that you're meant to drag don't appear, just hold control and click on the object, it should now change to the points you need.
