I got Botox & Juvederm and ended up with severe hives for a year afterward. Hypothyroidism was diagnosed later. The hives got better with time. The hives stared 14 days after Botox & Juvederm. I’d love to hear a discussion on whether or not Botox increases the toxic burden on the human body, yes or no.

Of course it does it’s a toxin. I have a very bad autoimmune response to Botox.

Thank you so much for this video. I have Myasthenia Gravis (in remission for 5 years) and with it being quote rare in the U.S.(where I currently reside),I have had to be my own advocate when it comes to preventing the administration of contraindicated substances (such as magnesium,anesthesia, etc..). There is not much research as you said, and the few cosmetic surgeons I've consulted with have chosen to reject me out of being a high risk. I have a great neurologist and the professional I have last consulted with is taking the extra steps to consult with my neuro and have him on board and available etc... I guess now I also have to consider the hypothyroidism.. Again, thank you for this video.

You make a great point about the viral injections that I never considered. With an autoimmune disease ,like MG in my case, I get infections,colds,etc..often..like once every few months to the point where I no longer even address them or confuse them with allergies..Since being in remission I have not had any exacerbations from these but prior, when my MG was flating up, one of these tiny little colds quickly exacerbated into extremity weakness, trouble chewing,diplapia and I would have to quickly go in for 5 rounds of IVIG or plasmaphoresis if I caught it in time ..or if I didn't, 2-3 week hospital stays were also pretty frequent for me prior to remission...

I have autoimmune disease and ever since I got restylane in my tear trough I’ve had a inflammatory response of dry patchy skin in that area close to my nose bridge. It’s been 2 yrs but if I got the filler dissolved would this go away?

How do you know? What happened?

@@dn612 I started to get weirdly sick after getting more Botox in my masseter muscles, but never connected the 2 so I kept getting it done. Then my boyfriend suggested to try Dysport. We did. We both had extremely bad reaction to it. All I had just multiplied by 10 times. Panic attach at night, tachycardia at night, extreme tiredness, pain in the whole body, insomnia and many others. It was an autoimmune response to the toxin that was creating systemic inflammation. Never again I want a toxin in my body. I’m still suffering from the effects.

It could be one reason yes. But because you have nodules doesn’t necessarily mean you have undiagnosed Auto immune disease. But it’s important to go back to your practitioner to rule out other causes.
