I love how the lady holding vegetables turned out. Selecting colors based on the overall color harmony, instead of on what they normally are in real life, worked out really well here. The dusty purple tones in her hair and the toned down reddish purples in the veggies especially look really pretty!

I have been following you for over a year and a half now and I guess it's time to confront. You see... Whenever I feel uninspired, or at a loss, or just looking for some videos to keep my morals high about art and so, you and your channel was always a great place to visit. You were a big inspiration to me and helped me pick a paper and pencil every single time I was feeling down. And art was so easy to do when your videos were playing along! You helped me a lot through my art journey and I wouldn't be the exactly same me if it weren't for you. the erasers on col erase pencils aren't the best, I recommend using a separate eraser or trying uni color mechanical pencils, they come in a few colors, I like the orange and pink best

Re: face details - I say “try it”! The worst thing that could happen is that you don’t like it and you return to your already established style. If it works out, then you’ve discovered a new aspect of your style that you can choose to develop or not. Trial and error is not necessarily laziness (unless of course you know that about yourself), it can be a way to open new creative doors.

Hey @JelArts, col erases don’t erase well with the eraser on the actual pencil! I have no idea why this is! I usually use a huge white eraser or a battery operated tiny white eraser and both work extremely well! Hope this helped! :)

It seems that you typically work on a flat non-angled surface. How do you protect your back or keep from hunching over? I feel like I've hurt my lower back because I'm not sitting straight. Have any of your art teachers spoken on this topic of ergonomics?
