i dont know if you ended up figuring it out, but u needed to hold the pen vertically, the different color cap side up, relying on gravity. the ink then seeps into the pen. it wasnt a contact thing, they (probably) all made contact, just wasnt able to move color because of gravity. it didnt look like you held them this way, but i could be wrong! like i said, couldnt really tell.

KAAASSEEEEYYY REREAD THE INSTRUCTIONS they work really well just mix them vertically like you read ALOUD at the beginning of the video!!!

if the cap doesnt touch doing it vertically won't matter

@@dominosquash the thing is that it doesn't matter if the cap touches it or not, the ink is stored in a section in the top of the cap and if you do it vertically gravity releases more of that ink. Waffles had the same problem when she first tried to do it as well and it was solved when she did hers vertically.

I just got out of the hospital yesterday. I was there for three long days. I had a 9mm kidney stone removed. I finaly home and feel So much better. This give me so much inspiration to break out my art supplies and go crazy. Thank you Kasey for make me happy today. Kaseyyy you need to hold them vertically!! Gravity brings the ink down into the bottom pen so you actually get more ink in it. You even read it on the booklet !

I have chameleon blending markers and also have this box, and you NEED to have them upright with the cap facing up for the best results. I was literally cringing the entire time 😂

did you try holding the pen with the right way up so the colored cap is above the other color so it flows down, thatway you get the best gradient
