I loved The Dead Romantics. The humor, the romance, and the ambiance worked well together.

The Last Chance Library was one of my favorites from last year! I gave it 5 ⭐️. There is a little romance but the story focuses mostly on the main character and patrons trying to save the library. I laughed and cried reading this book. Such a feel good story.

I loved just last night. I wouldn’t consider it a romance, but the romance that ensued was the best!

The Last Chance Library was good. I liked The No-Show, but I love-love-LOVED The Flatshare, so your mileage may vary. Mhairie McFarlane is a auto read author for me, and I did enjoy Just Last Night. The Fastest Way to Fall is good. I am currently reading the second of two novellas of hers, both set in airports.

Funny You Should Ask is in my radar. Also some of these like the ones by Jane Igharo, Tia Williams, Lizzie Damilola Blackburn, Abbi Waxman. I've read Something Borrowed and Something Blue by Emily Giffin. I loved them and I love Something Blue more. Crazy Rich Asians tends to be wordy/info dumpy, but maybe because I am Southeast Asian, I am able to depict the imagery clearer. Because of that, I enjoyed the series overall (China Rich Girlfriend though is more drama-driven. Read it to find it yourself). Thanks for sharing Rachel Lacey, Clare Pooley.

OK I get the Hollywood thing I think. I don't care about celebrities either but there's something about the mechanics of fame and celebrity but not the people who are famous.

I say it wrong all the time too, it's not easy. But Mhairi is actually pronounced closer to Vari.. So like Vaar-ee. I'm terrible at writing out pronounciations.

This may be random, but I also have two older sisters and I refer to them as my “older, older sister” and “younger, older sister”. Don’t know if that would be helpful for you when you refer to them.
