Small world. Yeah, the foam covers in the mic didn't like the beard. I just got some furry covers and gonna try them. I like the idea of keeping it hid, but I guess I can try just clipping it to my shirt.

Did I forget to mention the Holley carburetor to use either use a 600 manual choke that's been jetted or either a Holley 600 or Holley 650 spread bore you know with vacuum with electric choke either one try those on for size along on squeaky and see if that see if that helps you know improve performance but like I said good luck with that good luck with squeaky I love to see him

Hey man sweet video, does the hardblok instructions recommend waiting to machine the block until after filling or does it matter?
@SquarebodyStuff6 ай бұрын
Yes, you need to full it before having it machined. The fill can expand enough to distort the cylinders just a little.

Looks great Chad! I wonder if putting an old electric sander strapped to the side of the block would help even out the grout after it's dumped in?
@SquarebodyStuff2 жыл бұрын
I actually beat on the first side with a rubber mallet and tried an air hammer, but it didn't flow out any better.
@tristanabell21172 жыл бұрын
How much does it effect the cooling capability?
@SquarebodyStuff2 жыл бұрын
Honestly can't tell you. I've never tried it. Only going half full like I did still has plenty of cooling for the upper part of the cylinders where the biggest part of the heat is generating.

If you want to improve on squeaky here's some here's some more performance tips try going with a roller cam part number 12-422-8 it's a four it's a 495 502 lift 270 276 duration with a 110 lobe separation RPM 1,000 to 5400 and go with a set of world product s&r torker heads part number 042650-1 just do a very mild Port job just cleaning them up and pocket portal and I'll bet squeaky will not squeak anymore go squeaky go I'd love to see him when he's done with this stroker holla if you hear me
@SkylerBrown-g4m6 күн бұрын
If he's going to fill the block I'm sure he's gonna do more than a mild build with a 305 lol I mean I would. He also running nitrous so why would the power ban run a 5400 that should be more about 7500 wouldn't it?
@SquarebodyStuff6 күн бұрын
Well said, this little 339 has already been to the dyno and the track. It peaks at 6200ish rpm and I'm shifting at around 6800 with the flat tappet cam. It's already gone a 8.885 in the 1/8th on just motor. the big block with a 150 shot went 8.874. I have a few recent videos of the track progress.

First of all, who even touches a 305, let alone tries to stroke one? I was an engine machinist for over 20 years and only ever rebuilt 1 of these turds. The owner came back later and told me i was right to suggest a 350, he just didn't listen.
