I was filling the DS 160 for stamping however the Receipt Number IOE-XXXXXXXXXX is not recognized and throws following error. The USCIS assigns a unique 13 digit alphanumeric number. There are 4 USCIS service centers to handle H1B applications. The first 3 character of your receipt signifies the particular service center, where the application is being processed. They can be any one of WAC, EAC, SRC, and LIN.

@@Manideepkolli Yes, This is what I did - I chose the "Unemployed" option while filling the DS-160. I took advice from many people, including 'EducationUSA' they advised me that "Unemployed" would be the best option in this case. After selecting unemployed, mention what you were doing during this time, for example, preparing for Undergraduate through online sources like Edx, Udemy, KZbin, etc.

I am currently working part time in a restaurant until I travel to the USA. My question is now with the question to "Present Work/Education/Training Information" there I enter anyway that I am student or? because actually I work at the moment but I`m still enrolled. The 2nd question is about the point "Previous Work/Education/Training Information".
