I live in small house and put my freezer on the porch because of lack of space. After the first raid by animals I used a bungee strap to deter further meddeling. Well the bear just dragged the freezer off the porch into the woods and ripped the hinges off to get at the yummy food. I was able to reassemble the freezer and 15 years later it still works sitting safely inside. Love the videos.

I also had jerky made when our deer and elk were processed. The jerky was extremely delightful and was GONE very quickly. It's a wonderful feeling hunting/fishing and filling up the freezer and pantry shelves with food.

The meat processor was serious about handling the packages of meat - especially the ground meat tubes. The plastic on those tubes can easily get little nicks and pinholes. Put them in a bowl or container when you go to defrost them... otherwise you'll be cleaning up 'deer juice'.

Nothing like a cooler full of organic meat! Those animals had a great life, and one bad day. I am 61, and don't hunt, but my Amish friends do, and I have 22 pints of ground elk meat, and venison in the fridge. You won't want "bar code" meat after eating that! Good job Baron.

We finally got a small 5 sq cubic ft freezer for our apartment. Now we can buy items on sale at the grocery store and freeze them. We love it. It took a while to finally get a freezer (due to the issues with shipping) but now that we have it, we're able to stock up on good, quality food.

We have no issue with hunting but we're just not very good at it 🤣. So we are stuck with buying what we need. We are working on how to save on food and other items.

This was great, my son in law to be is a hunter, he didn't get one this past year because of all the fires in California, but the year before he got a good sized deer and it filled their freezer with enough meat to last a little over a year, they do of course supplement with other meats from the market. Their favorite cuts from the deer are the backstrap and the tenderloin, but my daughter also enjoys the ground venison for lots of dishes they make. I can't wait to see you start cooking with your venison, thanks for bringing us along.

I love the way you guys interact with each other. You have such great chemistry. Also, though I’m not a dog person and they usually annoy me in videos, watching them play made me smile and was very entertaining. I love seeing them run free. We used to do a lot of canning, food processing, dehydrating of food ect but since we are currently full time in our RV we can’t do it anymore so I can relate to you having to have someone else process your deer. You guys make me smile everytime I watch you. Kamp had a blast, he's such a good dog. When me and my x went ice fishing sometimes we would drop a few egg shell to the bottom to light up the bottom. We were in a ice fishing shanty and the hole was much bigger. It was fun. Can't wait to see what you cook up with the deer meat. Put some in you chili then later make Nachos with your chili, yummy.
