Elsa, I love seeing your watercolors and especially the metalsmithing setup! I also do both as a full-time traveler. Watercolor is nice in the winter and jewelrymaking is nice in the warmer weather when I can be outside to hammer and solder. When we went on the road full time, most of it came with us. But, since we move a lot, it's been difficult to just pull out the supplies and work on something. There are too many tools and supplies, scattered in different places, including hard-to-reach areas. I love your use of clear plastic bins and going vertical with the tool storage. You've inspired me to get more organized so I can start making jewelry again more easily. Thank you, Elsa! And, Barron, congrats on the successful fishing trip! Thanks to both of you for sharing your lives with us.

This was lovely! Elsa, you did a wonderful job of getting organized! Things may move around, but since you have a space for them and a large container for everything metal smithing, you'll always be able to tidy things up. I think it would be wonderful for you to come up with 6 water color prints and then sell them as cards people could use for anything. I'm not sure how you'd go about getting that done, but if those original 6 sell well, maybe you could do seasonal sets, fish sets, deer and moose sets. You get the idea. I know I would buy each set as they came out because I'm a firm believer in snail mail and have 7 brothers and sisters + many, many nieces and nephews, and the greats are getting numerous too. I'm looking forward to seeing your jewelry too as I like to buy my sister's earrings and I like to buy silver instead of cheap metal types that infect their ears. You and Barron have always intrigued me when I first found your channel because of your calm voice. So many other channels are filled with hyperbole. Even when you're doing exciting things it's still so calm. I enjoyed the ice fishing quite a lot too. Lots of memories there. I can't stand the taste of any fish or seafood which has always made me angry because it's an entire food group I can't eat! I wanted my children to like fish and their father was a serious fisherman and hunter. I learned how to clean, gut and prepare all types of fish and was careful to never show how I felt about the taste or smell. They didn't know - and were shocked to learn - that I didn't like fish until they had all left home. I just always filled my plate with sides and as children they never noticed. They all love fish and seafood. I wanted them to form their own opinions about it. And that's all of the parenting advice I'll ever give unsolicited. As usual, a wonderful video. Thank you for the wonderful editing and voice-overs. I hope you both have a wonderful weekend. ❄🌨❄🌨❄

Elsa, I wish you would sell your art on an Et*y store so those of us who have little wall space could decorate w/them. I love them & agree w/Barron that you’re way too self-critical. BTW, that crocheted blanket is stunning. I love it & no it’s not too “grandmotherly.” I think that’s what you asked Barron abt at one point. You are an amazing artist. xx Barron, great job fishing. The thing that touched me the most is that when you were bagging them up you said, “Thank you fish” to each one. #Gratitude is all powerful. As are your stunning blue eyes that see through to our very souls (she says humbly).🤗

Y’all can try go get wine crates at local liquor stores instead of buying plastic bins. I have like 15-20 wine crates that in repurpose into shelves and storage bins. They’re pretty sturdy and are decently well made. Usually they are free as they have so many but some store will charge you like $5 which sucks.

Elsa-Some day, when you get there, think of this idea. For each of my crafts,I have an office desk.I still need a beading desk. The drawers are very deep, and you can get them cheap or for free. They are very sturdy.I always deactivate the locking mechanism in the back of the desk, because the keys are usually lost.but it is easy to do. I am still not completely there, but those desks really help!Another idea is to use old file cabinets for storage. They are SO ugly, but it is easy to fix with a can of paint.Again, very cheap,or sometimes free.I am a big crafting maven, can't help it.I am coming out of the closet as an artist thingy person. Another cheap idea for a roomy table is an old door blank from restore, and two sawhorses.Dollar store plastic tablecloth, and you're good to go. You might need a bigger shipping container, but, you know,it's where sanity lies.
