I did not post the before bad fill. Look at my other video to see what to look for.

Thank you very much for this vid. I just purchased one of the polyform buoys and am about to fill the bag. I understand the need to fill all the way because of the crease. FYI, I purchased the additional PLUG that replaces the current plug. This new plug (made by the same company as an after market piece. i bought it on Amazon, the same place i bought the polyform buoys) allows for insertion of a air pump needle into the plug for inflation without the need to remove it altogether. I plan on filling the bag about 3/4 of the way or up to the feel that I want and filling the rest with air to mitigate the creases that occur. Thanks again for your highly informative vid. have a great day!

I have the bag you see at 3:05 (except mine is red). It lasted nearly 2 years before it split, and yes mine wasn't properly filled. The splits developed right along the fold lines. I just hung up my replacement bag (same one as before) but this time its really full. I filled it a bit differently as i was just using stuff i had around the house. I put a wooden skewer down through the valve to hold it open, then i used one of those plastic cones/nozzles you put on the end of a caulking gun (trimmed it to about half length as it was too long and wide), and i jammed it in along side the skewer and used a garden hose to fill it up. I had a hose joiner clipped into the end of the hose to make the outlet nice and narrow to fit into the plastic cone snugly. The skewer did two things. It held the valve open and it left a small space so air could come out while water flowed in. My advice is use low water pressure from the hose haha, because if its too high you are getting wet.

I just "touched base" with you on another video and subsequently found this video. Do you think a Polyform FENDER with the VERTICAL "built in" ribs to deal with boats bouncing into them MIGHT handle the punches better? Good DIY fill nozzle!!
