heavier will make you punch harder. Got a 190 pound mounted with a fixed 1.25" pipe going through the eye. At first my punches hardly moved it, not anymore...

I used 1.25" galvanized pipe and Kee Klamp Crossovers of the same size to connect the pipes together. Bag only swings Back and forth.It is like hitting a trampoline where it just absorbs and "bounces" my fist back out without moving. I had to learn to Superman punch and get my bare fist and everything else [shoulder elbow wrist] properly aligned to transmit enough Force into ot to move it good. I am sure it has to do with the way I mounted it .

That's the next size up from the one I have. Great idea using the pipe to mount it. I can move my clear across the gym on an over head trolley which allows me to set up 4 of my bags at once or store them out of the way. Need more info like this on KZbin. cheers brother!

@@MacStrengthCo Thanks , I enjoy your channel. The bag is captive on that axis of the pipe . Sometimes it "walks" sideways , but some pvc pipe could prevent that. Its a heavy pendulum and can be hit as it is swinging back at you as well...this setup is more for Force Transmission. Having the bag suspended from the chain like you have seems best for manuever, footwork as well. I had two parallel bars running 7' overhead and I Kee Klamped a 1.25" pipe across both parallel bars with the bag in the middle, I have a picture if you want to see it. You got a great setup over there.
