wow i wasted hours trying to do this in maya/ mash, what an awful experience. tyflow and this tutorial got me what i needed in like 10 minutes. thank you!

That's why even that I most use 3D max, I keep watching all other software to see what and how they do things tp break the "if you only have only hammer everything looks like nail" mentality :)

This was really handy and a good outcome also. Is there a way to bake that out? With MassFX when you bake out the simulation I can have it interacting with max fluids, can you bake the output of this out so if the container was full of liquid the objects would interact?

Yes, there is indeed. There is a Export Particles operator to do just that. If what, I make a video about it. Quite simple.

@@FXPearStudio Perfect thanks for that, a video would be great. I am a somewhat older gent 50+ and some of the documentation is a little much to get my head around but videos and then replicating, reverse engineering what I see - that's how I like to work things through.

I will make a quick video about it. Basically add a box or other geo, add Surface test -> Volume inside and send to Delete. Quite simple. Let me know if you got it.

Yes. Try to right click in the tyFlow and - > convert to editable poly
