Heat merupakan film drama kriminal yang ditulis, diproduksi, dan disutradarai oleh Michael Mann. Film yang dirilis pada 1995 ini dibintangi oleh Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Tom Sizemore, Diane Venora, Amy Brenneman, dan Ashley Judd. Cerita film Heat diangkat dari peristiwa pengejaran seorang penjahat bernama McCauley oleh petugas polisi Chicago, Chuck Adamson, pada 1960-an.Dikisahkan Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro) adalah perampok profesional yang tinggal di Los Angeles. Neil bersama krunya, Chris Shiherlis (Val Kilmer), Michael Cheritto (Tom Sizemore), Trejo (Danny Trejo), dan Waingro (Kevin Gage), baru saja merampok 1,6 juta Dolar dalam bentuk obligasi dari sebuah mobil berlapis baja. Saat menjalankan aksinya tersebut, mereka tak sengaja membunuh tiga orang penjaga keamanan
Setelah perampokan, Nate (Jon Voight) menyarankan Neil untuk menjual kembali obligasi yang dicurinya kepada pemilik aslinya, Roger Van Zant (William Fichtner), yang menjalankan bisnis pencucian uang. Neil menerima saran rekannya tersebut dan langsung menghubungi Roger. Roger pun setuju dengan tawaran Neil. Namun, Roger menginstruksikan anak buahnya untuk menyergap Neil pada saat mereka bertemu karena tak terima telah dirampok.
Sementara itu, Letnan Vincent mendapatkan kabar terbaru dari informannya yang mengatakan kalau polisi Michael terlibat dalam perampokan Neil. Letnan Vincent kemudian memerintahkan timnya untuk mengawasi Michael. Apakah Letnan Vincent berhasil meringkus Neil dan kaki tangannya?

Yep they go on about pacino and deniro but it's good to see kilmer etc. too. Yeh but what about the movie?
