You nailed it with the offense being so dependent on precision and anticipation leaving zero room for error. The Texans were using their own anticipartory skills to combat our offense. Where were the double moves to counter this? Even Trent Green was talking about this on the broadcast and we never went to that. How could we not be prepared for this defensive scheme? Didnt Baltimore deploy the same concept last year when we got trounced?

I think it depends on the context of the turnovers. I've seen QB's have 4 turnover days before and 3 were because of teammates mistakes. But yesterday Tua for sure deserves plenty of blame but so does everyone else on offense

Thanks Ryder for this. Even with Tua having a bad game, still, he drives the offense into winning. I want to say, before the 2nd INT, the Fins were very well much into it. Had he got a TD on the drive, I believe there was still time left. Momentum can shift on a dime. And still..yet again...the Guards spots. Those penalties. Fins could not get out of their own way.

Grier and McDaniel need to go everyone know you need a good Oline to be successful except for these two morons.
@drewstar412
@drewstar412 9 күн бұрын
Grier, yes. McDaniel, he should be on thin ice. If he don't prioritize the Oline, this year (something he should have done via the draft, because they tried to do it via free agency), then needs a GM who have a better draft strategy than Grier's..especially with the Oline. There is ZERO excuse why this Oline should not have a bona fide starting spot on the Oline with some quality depth. The only leadway I give, is that Coach McDaniel got Coach Barry a year to late. I'd like to see what Coach Barry could do with an Oline heavy draft...another Either Two Tackles, or a tackle and Guard, or one of those and a center. We do have Meyer, so that is hopefully he develops into a solid Center.
@theodoresmith5272
@theodoresmith5272 9 күн бұрын
Nope. You need a mobile qb who can make plays in pressure situations. Every defense is bringing heat. Elite qbs extend plays and make good things happen. Tua got picked on 3, should have been 4, plays he wasn't under pressure. Plus the fumble. He can't win a big game. He can't win in the cold. He can't put up points with a loaded skill player offense. Allen put up 50 with a skill player group many laughed at compared to the dolphins.
@theodoresmith5272
@theodoresmith5272 9 күн бұрын
@drewstar412 why? Mclovin is right. All the coaches before him were right. Tye best thing you can do with tua is get the ball out quickly. It is why every coach has featured screen passes. The longer he holds the ball, the worse he is statistically. He is a spot thrower. Why waste the money and draft picks on players that won't fit what the qb does? You want them to block for 2 seconds. It's more important the guys get open in 2 seconds.

texans obviously scouted what the dolphins wanted to do in the passing game, they were jumping routes all game and yet I did not notice any adjustment from McDaniel in his playcalling as the game went on. It is a common theme of the McDaniel era where a good defense too easily disrupts what we want to do on offense with no ability to adjust our approach

I'd agree but 1) these guard can't block long enough for the Hill and Waddle to get down field...2) Hill is battling a wrist injury of some sort, and Waddle is banged up that he can't get open fast enough...3) add that defenses will scheme for this, if they can. All starts with the Oline.

Good brrakdown Ryder. Thanks. You can, as you say, win in the NFL with "'good' QB play. But I think it is now inescapable that it is not sustainable to shape the entire offense around masking his weaknesses. We either learn and evolve or we.double down. Hopefully the former. Let's see.👍🏻

Ryder, I wish you would just dedicate breakdowns on OL play as it would really bring attention to why the Phins don’t have success. It would clearly show the failures of the pass blocking that causes plays to fail. Also would show why the running game fails. Everything hinges on OL play and bringing attention to those fails would better explain why the other parts, passing and running game fails. Then more people would realize more that it’s really the OL not giving the QB and others the chance to succeed.

NFL TOOK away our deep pass game We need a Dominant RUN Game . PERIOD . Roster ? We need elite guards & depth O-line The new elite run game opens up the deep pass game ! PERIOD ( & vice versa) NFL figured us out with cover 2 deep zone … with the elite run game they must crowd the BOX… This takes away over 2 deep zone and vice versa ------------- SIGN ELITE Guard Draft ELITE Guard PRRIOD Patrick Paul will be needed to spell Armstead & Jackson SPOT ON - TUA should not have to play this quick pass game every rep . We were forced to play with 3rd string Right tackle and back up guards Patrick Paul is a Rookie We showed up with 1 legit starter .. Brewer at Center WE can not …beat great teams away with a fake O- line ………. THIs is on GRIER and HC … They thought they could get away with it . They guessed wrong again !!! YES we need a BIG WR who does not get hurt ! We need a good in Line TE ------------------ That aside … WE are soft …. GRIER & HC very soft … The Team is rolling their eyes when Mike does his speeches . LOOK at the good teams ….. the HC’s are NOT soft . I don’t trust Grier & Mike ‘s judgment In terms of personal . FIND the PRO scout who found ACHane , Washington , and even Wright …. that scout should be GM . ( I know it was not Mike ) The revamped O- line will give TUA the time he needs. .. TUA should not be operating at a frenzied pace all the time .. The Team makes many mistakes working in that mind space .. ex … Penalties…. Not getting plays in … TUA PICKS …. NOT his fault …. TUA expected to perform miracles each okay … Most of the time 6 guys are covering 3 receivers…. That will change with ELITE O- LINE . Grier and Mike should be fired thinking they could get away with a bad O- line and NO back up qb .. THIS cost us the 2024 season . The personal changes need to be on the O- line --------------------- We have a legit back up QB … another reason to fire Grier / Mike -------------------- Defense ? We can’t have it all We can live with a middle of the ROAD defense You know how the NY Giants beat the Patriots in 2007/ 2012 ? 3 headed pass rush monster who stayed healthy Great Pass RUSH hides many worts on defense . CHOP coming back JP/ Chubb coming back ( we know 1 of them will go down ) DOLPHINS Need 2 more PASS RUSHERS ……. Must be GOOD Sieller & Calias are elite ! Talking about edge rushers !!! They won’t GIVE opposing Qb’s time .. ( pretty much what happens with TUA vs good teams ) We can get away with mediocre DB’s with a great pass rush monster who! -------------- Summary 2 elite guards 1 durable BIG WR 1 in line TE 2 more pass rushers That’s simple

Tua's 2nd INT...Look when TUA throws the ball...Stingley is trailing and not even looking back and Hill has him beat by half a yard..Hill is supposed to make a hard cut at the 10 instead he rounds out his cut...Just like Chase Claypool in the Buffalo game he rounds out his cut instead of a hard cut.....That is not a bad throw by TUA...That is on Tyreke and this is where a big bodied WR would come in handy... This is where the all 22 shows the real picture..The live game looks like TUA makes a horrible throw but when u see when he releases the ball and where Hill and Stingley are...Hard to argue it a bad throw.... Even the 1st INT...TUA throws with anticipation...and that happens sometimes and Hill sort of got bumped off his route...Its one thing if TUA is getting fooled...But u can live with these type of INT's...Even the almost INT on the Jonu pass..If Jonu cuts in more on his route..he hits him perfectly..but Jonuy straightens his route out.. TUAs 3rd INT...Hill's momentum catches that 90% of the time with 2 hands on the ball

Your logic makes no sense. You say the back to back 1,700 yard receiver can't be at fault. By that logic the QB that led the league in passing yards last year and the one throwing to the WR during his 1,700 yard season can't be at fault either. See why that's silly? This was not to dissolve Tua of blame because if you watch the video I blame them both equally for this performance. Tyreek has failed to show up in big games to and there are plenty of examples. Your bias is showing against Tua and favoring Tyreek when both played horribly.

@@avihoffman8543 Yeah misses happen. like the 2nd played I showed. Look all around the league deep balls are not throw perfectly all the time. Tua's throw was fine enough to where reek should've came down with it and he didn't and he would tell you that. Misses happen everywhere it's not something that really concerns me with Tua cuz he is usually very accurate. The decision making on the 1st int is where I am most concerned, not a slightly underthrown deep ball that hit the receiver in both hands.
