I am great at taking stuff apart ( Pentax spot meter, Polaroid Land camera etc.) but putting it all back together, now that is a different matter all together.

Hey man thanks for the tip! I've had this camera for a long time now and the low light warning sound was really annoying. Didn't know it was an easy fix. Also, I only removed the red wire on mine cuz I still wanted the light for the warning. Cheers!

Bryan Sayas Glad to hear you got it fixed to your liking. Thanks for watching!

Hi, Thanks theoldcameraguy for the tip and Bryan Sayas for adding up that bit of info. So if I also wanted to keep the light and get rid only of the noise, would it be enough by just cutting the red cable without removing the plate thing or do I have to remove it completely? Thanks
@brynsys4 жыл бұрын
@@VanKans Just remove the red cable and put the plate back in to place.

Hiii! I have this camera and everything works, including the flash but it doesn't close, I think it could be something easy to fix, what do you think?

That’s not a fix I know how to do, unfortunately. At least everything is functional. It’s a fun little shooter!

I was wondering if you would be able to help me. I have an Agfa Optima 1535 it works well except that the frame counter resets itself after a few frames or stays in the initial position.

Socrates Sorry, I don’t have any experience with the Agfa Optima 1535 (but I do like its late 1970s design). My low tech solution on my cheap point and shoots with busted frame counters is to stick a mailing label on the back and mark down how many shots I’ve taken. Thanks for watching!

Do you have a hack for my PC35AF it works fine however my frame counter is stuck at 38.. any idea what i can do?
@theoldcameraguy4 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I don’t have a good fix for that one. On my cameras that have a broken counters, I’ve just used a piece of masking tape on the back of the camera to keep track. Thanks for watching!

I just picked one of these up for $3.99 and after cleaning one of the battery springs it's good as gold. Can't wait to shoot with it.
