There are so many Argentinian movies that needs restorations. I remembered getting a Jorge Porcel video in the 1980s that had a huge splice in the film transfer. Possibly 30 seconds of lost footage. I was really surprised seeing a recent TV broadcast showing a different transfer with the missing bits (yet the visual quality for the whole movie had lots of scratches on the film). I was happy seeing that a Sandro film got a restoration (I don't have it in my collection to fully compare) but seeing SOMETHING from Argentina being restored made me quite happy. This video really was informative!

Yep, in Latin America there’s a lot of footage that needs even to be digitized, let alone restored.
