I have watched so many FCPX tutorials on KZbin, and this is the first one that seems to be made by someone that is an actual editor, and not a KZbin content creator. Do you guys know that this masterclass is, as far as I can find, the only true FCPX tutorial in existence???? Thank you so much. none of the tutorials I can find even start with organizing ones footage in any sort of professional manner. This should be featured on the apple website.

Wow, as reviewers have already stated; best FCPX tutorial I have seen on KZbin. I was a professional film maker for nearly 30 years starting back in the Hi Band Umatic days, before retiring I used Adobe products for about 10 years. Once I retired I purchased FCPX and Motion as I no longed wanted to spend £1500 /year for Adobe products and instead I purchased FCPX for £199 & Motion for £49. Both of these have been continually upgraded at no cost to me. However this is the best and clearest demonstration of the use and potential of FCPX I have seen. Great Job John.

i start editing family video through FCPX for few months and upload few video to youtube mainly regards to my boy. Learning piece by piece by on-line tutorial via each individual video. This tutorial is kind of a summary and a boost to my poor fcpx skill and i love it. With a walking through the entire editing process of a professional expert, it's for sure a great opportunity to know what i need to improve myself. it might be a bit long if you just start to edit video for the first time, but you can always come back to find the missing pieces for yourself. Luckily i have my thumbs up for this masterclass, so i can find it again 3weeks later and watch it all over again. Thank you for sharing the great content.

This is one of the best vid3os ive watched on KZbin. I used to use the old final cut studio years ago and just started using the newest version and it was pretty overwhelming. I finally got used to it and now watching this video its just showing all the mistakes ive made so far and how I can easily change them and the bad habit ive already made for myself.

This is an impressive introduction to Final Cut Pro X, and while I didn't learn much that I didn't know already, this video will serve me well when introducing the program to those unfamiliar to it. It's great that the presenter has no urge to qualify his actions with winks or excuses to the more advanced users that might be watching. It touches upon all the basics of operation, swiftly but without scurrying.

I do drone shots and compose my own Music. I use a Dji Air 2 for the cam and use ableton and hitfilm to edit my shots. They are not so complex like this film in this masterclass 🇩🇰

I think it helps if the viewer has a rough understanding of non linear editing, but if not he/she may have to watch iteratively several times, but that being said my background was some introduction to final cut pro 7, and not used NLE since, and I found this video well thought out , carefully constructed and useful with enough detail without too much confusing detail . Interesting too!! I just got lost a little when he discussed combining the audio segments from the different clips . But I get the general idea.
