In an interview, Samuel Perry-Falvey (Ren's close childhood friend and Cinematographer) said that Ren filmed most of this video himself and also edited it himself.

Just enjoying your personality, and the way you get excited about what Ren's doing. The film knowledge is fun, because Ren's an excitable film nerd too, so i think he puts in a lot of nods (both visually and lyrically) to his favorite things. As well as his own unique moments of "hey! wouldn't it be cool if we did XYZ?!" Of course fans collectively figure them out and inform each other over time, no one expects any one reactor to catch them all on first watch -- but it sure is fun to see what someone WILL go "ooh! aha! wow!" about in their area of expertise. So it's not a test you can fail, just a chance to let yourself be passionate with friends who will appreciate it. 😀🥰 So yes, I would also enjoy seeing your reactions to lyric videos or audio-only stuff you haven't heard yet, if that's where your interest in various comment suggestions leads you. 🎉

The gorilla costume and a bag of rubber animal masks, are used in several of his videos. I think he and his friends found them at a thrift store. Instant inspiration 🎉. Loved this breakdown of the camerawork and it's great that you love Ren too. You're extremely lucky in that you still have a long long way to go before you reach the bottom of this particular warren. Please also branch off into Romain Axisa's personal catalogue("Love Without Feelings" with Romain on piano, or "Time After Time"), into Chinchilla, she has so many BIG songs but I would advise starting with either "Know No" or "One Time" from this EP ( 'Awakening' (EP) - Lockdown Visualiser), or Sam Tompkins ("See Me" or "Lose It All"). Not forgetting Knox Hill who does amazing breakdowns of music videos. His latest song "WOW", speaks for itself, lol. Have fun my dear.

I hope you don't mind... I shouted out your channel over at the /r ren subreddit. Just trying to get your name out there... no pressure. ha. But, you are *GOOD* at this! like, I get it that you're probably a bundle of nerves and barely holding it together on camera underneath it all, but you have a knack for telling us what you're thinking, and your tangents are the best! As others have said, not sure what else you have going on, but dang, you might just have something here with this whole talking to a camera thing. I hope you keep it up. and as you said on the last video about editing, etc... no worries. so far it's great, and editing isn't too bad. we're not expecting Stanley Kubrick over here. At least you have a camera that actually focuses. I can't tell you the amount of people that have out of focus cameras. Anyway, I digress. Great reaction again, as always!

My first time checking out your content and…. Great job! Very naturalistic. Based on what you’ve shared about yourself I’m 99% sure that you’ve seen the film Hereditary, Ari Asher’s directorial debut. If not, please do. It’s become my favorite horror movie and top 5 overall. I never would’ve guessed I’d have a film come along now, 45 years into a lifetime of movie watching. Ironically, listening to Ren for the first time made me feel the same way.

No, I’m not s big disc golfer, but I wondered about the MacBeth reference and this theory just made sense.

That is a piece of fan artwork on Ren's bedroom wall. The only movie reference I can think of that you didn't mention was Poltergeist. Although I've watched many reactions to this and seen it so many times, it's still fun watching you comment on it. Love your sense of humor and your forays into movies you've watched. I would definitely tune in to hear your commentary on lyric videos (Ren's are so good!) or the songs with no video at all. This song and video is so much fun, and he said he wrote it and filmed in a few days.

It’s very much not a thing I want to be doing, it’s not a style choice. My screen recordings worked for my first couple videos and now all of a sudden it will say it’s recorded the whole thing but when I check the video afterwards it only did the first 3 minutes so I have to record the video later and add it in. It’s something I’m working on figuring out how to fix. I’m bad at computers.
