Central theatre did not have air conditioning. It was only Air Cooled. Digital sound was not installed. Only analogue with side speakers. Ajanta theatre could have been converted to an IMAX theatre as it already had stadium type seating. Although it has been renovated with 4 K projection, the sound system has not been upgraded. It's still 5.1 Ultra Stereo DTS. And the ticket charge also is high compared to KSFDC theatres. Only Rs125/- for RGB 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos.

എനിക്ക് പണ്ട് പഴയ കാല പ്രൊജക്ടർ ഒരു ഹരം ആയിരുന്നു. അക്കാലത്ത് കിട്ടിയ ഫിലിം റോളിൽ നിന്ന് പവ്വർ ഉള്ള ലെൻസ് ബോക്സ് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ചുവരിൽ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ പ്രൊജക്റ്റു ചെയ്തു കാണിക്കും. ഓടിക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചില്ല (വെറുതെ ഫിലിം കറക്കിയാൽ ചലച്ചിത്രമാവില്ല). പിന്നീട് കുറേ വർഷങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷമാണ് സിനിമാ പ്രൊജക്ടറിൽ Geneva mechanism എന്ന ഭാഗമാണ് അതിൻ്റെ മൂവി ഹാർട്ട് എന്നറിയുന്നത്. അത് ഒന്നിടവിട്ട് ഫ്രെയിമുകളെ stop ചെയ്ത് കറങ്ങുന്ന പ്രത്യേക shaft ആണ്. ഓടുന്ന ഫിലിമിൻ്റെ stable image സ്ക്രീനിൽ കാണിക്കുന്നത് ഈ ഭാഗം ആണ്. ഇതൊക്കെ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയ കാലം ആയപ്പോഴേക്കും ഫിലിം പ്രൊജക്ടർ field out ആയിക്കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

ഉദായയുടെ എല്ലാ ചിത്രങ്ങളും ഇവിടെയാണ് റിലീസ്. മാത്രമല്ല എംജീയാർ ചിത്രങ്ങളും ഇവിടെ റിലീസ് ചെയ്തുട്ടുണ്ട്. പിന്നെ രണ്ട് കാര്യങ്ങൾ തെറ്റാണ് ഒന്ന് ഏസി അവിടെ ഇല്ലയിരുന്നു. രണ്ട് DTS അതും അവിടെ ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. ആദ്യ DTS ചിത്രം കാല പാനി റിലീസ് ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ . ആ തീറ്റർ ഷക്കീല ചിത്രങ്ങളിലേക്ക് മാറി കഴിഞ്ഞു.
