Exactly. He had a broken thumb most of the year, and a rib injury, I believe, against the Eagles that lingered. They also got rid of his top 2 WRs and replaced them with rookies. Like, what did people think was going to happen? He's still an MVP caliber player, just wasn't a great year, mostly due to injuries and losing his best 2 pass catchers. 1st ballot HoFer and a 4x MVP who just won back to back MVPs literally just 2 years ago lmao... and the media wants to act like he's washed up from one average year.

To me, Rodgers in NY is still a "work in progress" experience. He still got his famous quick throws, but the chemistry with his WR's appears to be at 70%. But, yes, the duo Rodgers/Wilson worked out during that game.

He had a couple good moments, particularly that smooth throw for the TD. Other than that, the offense wasn’t anything special, lots of easy schemed up throws within 10 yards. But it was very much not surprising to see how much he struggled with some of the throws he had against backups, with the starting offensive line. Hopefully they can scheme something up for the long-term but if Rodgers has to rely on dinking and dunking to evade longer drop backs now, this offense will be torn to shreds in the regular season, especially against the defenses they face in their own division.

On the 3rd and 5 the "easy pass" routes were all covered well while the deep pass there was a chance to let Garret Wilson make a play down the sideline in single coverage as he is quick and good at making separation. Btw the 3rd and 5 bomb was on the money but there was Pass Interference which did get called
