I agree with your take and we got 11 draft picks in 25. We keep improving each week so far and I attribute it to Dan Morgan and Dave Canales… Keep Pounding.

I actually had the feeling that the Panthers was going to win this game on that Friday entering this weekend of the game. Well, they took it into overtime and that is as good as a win even though it's a negative on the stat sheet but it's monumental to and into the psychic of this franchise. This could very well be the game that set fire to this team giving them momentum which could make them dangerous down the stretch of this season because it taught them that they are not inferior to the best team in football if they work together and that's huge...

Not living in the past here, but one can only imagine what the 2015-16 team would have looked like with an offensive line like this.

Ive been really impressed with mays being able to take on double teams while still keeping his eyes free for oncoming backers. This panthers O-line looks hungry and I'm excited to see how they continue to build and grow.

I’m a Panthers fan since they started playing in 1994. Is great to see improvement from last year. Football staff has put in great work. Our owner has learned to be patient and let them work. I hope. Keep Pounding 🏈

The biggest problem with the Panthers last year was their offensive line. It was mainly their guard situation and in this off-season, they made it an extreme effort to improve the position with two stud guards and Robert Hunter, Damian Lewis and it's been such a great thing because were they small quarterback or short quarterback, the interior offensive line needs to be the best part of the team.

Taylor Moton is the most underrated player in the NFL. Has been a consistent stud for the last 6 years on bad teams.

Ickey has looked a lot better this season as opposed to last because he has a competant guard lining up next to him that isn't hanging him out to dry by blowing assignments and just playing badly. Injuries to the line last year really affected almost everyone. This season they had mch better depth with player growth so when minor injuries did occur someone competant stepped in so they barely missed a beat. I really see Mays being the starting center for years to come and I think that Christensen can take over at RT when Moton retires or leaves due to his contract being way too expensive. They'll have to draft more depth peieces after that but they seem to be really good at that in recent years.

There is a clip of Jones towards the end the game where he is just gassed. He whooped Hunts a$$ most of the game but at least we know it wasn't easy for him.

@ShadowWarriorOfDeath3 күн бұрын
@@WerdUp13 if the defense gets a huge youth movement from the draft, then it could be better. I think the offense can still get better even with the lack of talent on that side right now. They can't win in a shootout but at the very least, they won't get chewed up and spat out.

@@ShadowWarriorOfDeath o I get it, but I've had very similar comments to what you just said for both sides of the ball too lol. It is a bit sad we're genuinely hoping for a 7 win season next year lol

Am I missing something? Is there any team that doesn't protect with 5 Offensive Linemen?
@The_Football_Scout4 күн бұрын
The majority of NFL teams utilize TEs and RBs to chip on like 75% of passing plays. Those chips are used to influence the defensive line. While it's good to help the OTs, it also means the passing concepts will only use 3 routes as opposed to 5.

I never felt so optimistic about our offense. The talented rookie plays by Coker, Legette, JT Sanders, and now going to include Jonathan Brooks is very refreshing and promising. We can say Dan Morgan did a smashing job in last years draft and also bringing in the right guys in the offseason. Can’t wait to see the results for the rest of this season. And can’t wait to see how we build around this team for next season. Finally theirs a sense of team identity growing.
