I also saw a pic of the three hosts posed like evolution, plus they made a little reaction to each of their first episodes, and Steve was exhausted watching himself. I was a little late to realizing Blue's gender, and my mother with Periwinkle. Apparently, the wiki said something about her having a mother called Goldie, in originals finale, Meet Blue's Baby Brother.

Blue is definitely a magical creature born from the blue moon, but the idea that she's an evil scout sent to gather intelligence for an invasion is where the theory loses me. Especially since I already knew all of this from memory of watching the show up to its final episodes (original series with Blue's Room Spin-Off included) when I was younger. Honestly, the theory could have worked better and kept its dark leanings if it was more about guessing what Blue's purpose and reason for being in Storybook World was/is. Since her specialness is the thing being highlighted in the series. Especially when Magenta is also capable of leaving her own clues and skidooing, and Rainbow is able to do everything Blue can do - including what she needs to be in her playroom to do (walk on her hind legs and talk) - to a greater extent. Rather than the basic "characters are actually evil/dead" subversion.

I mean, to be fair, the fact Rainbow Dog doesn't have any known owner when the rest do and with how Blue shafts Joe, it does start to give off some very wrong vibes when combined with Skiddu (probably misspelled that) World.

My theory: Blue is actually a female human that an evil wizard transformed into a dog and everybody in her house was transformed into objects (you remember them on the show) and the house was transformed into a construction paper house. Blue was given a fixed amount of time to have the spell broken by loving another and being loved back, and Blue's house was found by Steve when he was desperate to find his missing mother who was imprisoned there by Blue after Steve's mother came there when she needed a place to stay as her car broke down on the way to bring her invention to an invention show. Blue was willing to release Steve's mother if Steve took her place as prisoner. Can anybody guess what this theory is an adaptation of?

Well to be honest I heard the end where it said Steve gave himself up to free his mother and since I'm a fan of the movie I reconized that scene. Then I read back through the comment, with blue being transformed into a dog by a wizard and such, and it all fit.@@mcpeanutful

@@DeborahSwenson If my theory that you have read is correct, that's maybe why Blue only leaves the house by "skidooing"-because she is ashamed of her canine form, and the only time the host is allowed to leave is if Blue leaves the house-and the host may only go where Blue goes.
