This was the first movie to introduce some canon facts about the actual plot like Kuzan's missing leg and Sakazuki's wound marks around his neck which gives us some more glimpse about their actual fight which happened on punk hazard and the fact that this movie came before punk hazard started airing is just genius.

Just ignore the dinastone pothole and the cheap versions of the strawhats and it would almost be worth that much hype

Kid Z at the end made me cry, I NEVER watched a movie that left me in tears at the very very end and my god. Absolute peak storytelling, Z is such a compelling villain in literally every way.

The characters have amazing costumes throughout the manga in the color spreads. The reason the costumes aren’t too elaborate in the manga story itself is that it would be too much to draw on a weekly basis. The designs need to be kept simple to be able to draw them easily and quickly.

11:40 I don't think so , BB was stated to have kept a low profile before he got his fruit , and cutting off an Admirals arm wouldn't fit that . I personally think it could have been either : - Mihawk since he'd be strong enough to do it and due to some manga only info right now , but he doesn't have a fruit as far as we know - or Doflamingo since he's sadistic enough to kill the recruits and his strings can cut really well

Thanks for the review! Imo Film Z's villain kinda makes me sad... Z used to be an ambitious and heroic boy, full of dreams. Now he's a sad old man, who let his grief and rage overtake him. 5:50 Ngl, when I saw your friend's kitten, I forgot to listen to your review because I was so distracted, and I had to rewind the video haha

Pretty much every film that takes place in the new world must take place either before Punk Hazard ( or after Wano for Film Red ) to make sense based on who is on the ship , but future bounties contradict that

if there's one real criticism have of the film, its how...underused Z's minions are. They get very little screentime and seem to exist solely for 1) fights for Zoro and Sanji and 2) for that final scene with Aokiji.

This and Baron Omatsuri and the Island of Secrets are definitely the top two movies. How movie 6 made me feel: Sheer terror and dread. How this film made me feel: pure excitement

Apparently your cat disagreed with score on the film. Also it can't be Blackbeard because he was not a big pirate nor even a warlord until the current Pirate era. Before then he was a small time member of White beard's crew. Not to mention this pirate HAS to be much older in comparison due to the repeated encounters Z had with during his early to mid to late years in the Navy.

I love this movie its one of my favorite movies this, strong world and gold , are in my opinion the best one piece films also I think the volcanos will be part of one of the big 3 weapons

Super random tangent, but I was inspired to consider which warlord could have been responsible for breaking Z's spirit: I feel like Doffy could have been the one to kill his cadets and take his arm because none of the other warlords are that sadistic or cruel. -Moria is sadistic and cruel but he would have wanted to harvest Z's shadow or those of the cadets which is only possible if the cadets are alive not dead -Boa is cruel towards men and at the very least hostile towards the navy. She doesn't really do unmotivated killing if petrification can do. -Mihawk wouldn't just massacre a bunch of cadets, he's only interested in the strong. Taking Z's arm would be a weird move for him. -Jimbei would never! As the most moral and righteous of the warlords -Kuma wouldn't if this was before his operation considering what Dragon and Iva have said about him. And it wouldn't make sense after the operation because that would imply that the navy had a hand in the massacre, but why would they do that to one of their greatest assets -Crocodile and Blackbeard are both equally capable of committing these acts. But Doffy is the strongest candidate both of the level of psychological manipulation and pain he likes to inflict on others. This is the same man who made Dressrossa's own king slaughter his people when Doffy could have easily done it himself using his devil fruit. He intentionally makes others suffer in ways none of the other warlords would.

I don't really think that Robin's or Chopper de-aging was insignificant Brooke yes😂 haha! I can understand because Robin is older member of the whole Strawhat Crew and Chopper is the youngest.

All I know is whoever voiced Zed is an absolute g. I love how he has a kind of texan accent and he calls people boy. Dude just lays down the law and is scary about it
