Late but consider! Selfless greed is probably one of the most important narrative throughline in the next arc. Greed Island, a game for Hunters (those who's profession is born from excess desire) perfectly sets up the ideals and pitfalls of being involved in the world of Hunters. Being a Hunter is being someone willing to risk it all for what they believe or value in. For Illumi, his 'love' for his brother was smothering enough to rob Killua of agency. For Gon, his admiration and care for Kite was easily manipulated to turn him into a volatile explosion hazard. I find it really fascinating that selfless greed as a thematic core can be found all throughout hxh even before Greed Island. I'd even argue the very first person to display this type of greed being Mito herself! With her consequence being the direct cause of Gon leaving Whale Island.

This was a huge cartoon for me growing up, for sure. And I loved this movie

I agree with everything you say 🙂😍 this is honestly one of the best ways to end a series, and personally while I love ed for sure since he was always my favorite, everyone else had their share in the spotlight for this, it was rather touching to finally see the eds get the respect they deserve, plus ironic this was in 2009, the same where turtles forever I think also managed to be a good example on how to end a series, but for this, 🙏🤩 truly a shining example “this along with courage the cowardly dog are my personal favorite Cartoon Network shows”

I feel like alot of the importance of this arc was explaining how logia fruits work, prior to this arc anyone with a logia fruit was presented as an untouchable god tier pirate, this arc explained in more detail how logia work and showed that they arent invincible. As a side effect now you know its possible for the straw hats to fight and beat the logia marine admirals, which prior to this arc, seemed impossible

I watched the episodes and the straw hats would not reach skypeia without Robin. Nami thought the log pose was broken and Robin had to convince everybody that the log pose does not lie. It was Robin who deduced the ship was about 200 years old and that it indeed was roaming the sky for roughly 200 years, prompting Luffy to believe Skypeia exists when Nami, the literal person who navigates them, said it was a fake map.

I love Mohji and Cabaji (Richie and Mohji are a duo in one) for being the first ever themed goons in One Piece. The first named henchmen in general unless you count Helmeppo. They deserved more respect😭😭😭! By Oda too, they were underutilized

Ed Edd n Eddy is the one series I think should never be touched. For what it was it was nearly flawless, and any attempt to revive it will only ruin it.
