Gabe Faziois a truly brilliant actor. His character carried the entire movie. If the other cast members had this quality of talent, he would have been nominated for his performance in this movie, but the supporting cast weren't believable. The only other actor who performed really well, was the lighthouse keeper. Thanks for a great movie!

So he was witness to his parents murder, but the only thing that didn’t make sense is if his parents went missing like it says in the newspaper then how did the lighthouse keeper know they had been brutally murdered and why does ML remember their murder, I’m guessing it was covered up because the hotel didn’t want bad publicity.

The parents didnt just 'disappear', they'd been brutally murdered and then the murderer covered up the murder by saying they'd disappeared. The owner of the hotel was the murderer when he was younger.

SPOILER ALERT The ending is not satisfactory though they make us understand that the police guy came to the inn to arrest the inn keeper. But Inwould have wanted to see a fuller solving of this trauma. He was lucky to have a really kind and warm hearted girlfriend next to him. Others would have left from the very first signs of trauma.

This guy is so irritating. Everything is "weird." Not closing the bathroom stall door while he pissed -- yet, the other guy was in the wrong. Trying to force his girlfriend to text while he watched.
