One of the most underrated films of all time. A film that deserves much more recognition, written by the legendary Tarantino with another legendary Gary Oldman performance who never fails in going above and beyond in making his roles notable, amazing, memorable, outstanding, incredible, always making his roles iconic, as well as always making the film standout as one of the greats especially in every film he's in. A film with an excellent storyline, soundtrack, obsession, filled with action, emotion, feelings, intensity, iconic, legendary scenes, where in the end, despite Tarantino's trademark, and him not being the main director, both of them live on happly ever after, truly being like Bonne and Clyde, but in the end living, with a true romance, change, story, and experience.

Gary Oldman has got to be the most underrated actor in the world. Sure who doesn't love de niro pacino but Gary has gone from making me actually believe that he is a black guy in true romance to believing that he is Mason Verger a victim of Hanibal lecter. In Leon he walked up the stairs and stood outside the apartment and took that pill out of a tiny box popped it in his mouth and contorted....... it actually frightened me... Gary Oldman has never even been nominated for an Oscar How the fuck does that make sense..?

He was nominated for Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy.

Being an Oldman fan and having never watched Tinker is like visiting Louvre and forgetting to check out Mona Lisa. If you love his flamboyant performances like Drexl you'd be amazed at his ability to be the complete opposite on the acting spectrum.

It's incredible that they got Oldman to play the part, he elevated this character and made it memorable. It could have easily gone to guys like Eric Stoltz, if they didn't have the budget.

Gary Oldman can overplay or underplay any role he does. Mind blowing to watch him in True Romance and then hear his real voice. Greatness!

I saw this movie when it first came out in '93. Hard to believe Drexl came from Gary Oldman, that's just how good he is.

Probably the most versatile actor I've ever seen. It should never have taken until 2018 for him to finally win an Academy Award. One of the most believable villians as well. He becomes the character, which is what sets the great actors apart from the good ones.

He was nominated 5 years ago for TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY (lost to the French guy in THE ARTIST) and looks to get another nod (and possibly the win) this year for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in DARKEST HOUR, for which he has received great acclaim.
@crusnikrage40346 жыл бұрын
He don't need the fuckin' bullshit academy. They only give them out to the whores male or female whose cheeks they've been bustin' for years in order for them to make that top dollar. Gary Oldman don't strike me as one to allow his cheeks being busted. Now i know he's pretty. But not as pretty as those so insecure of themselves to sell out their own soul for fame. Everyday is white boy day for those casting couch execs. But they about to catch their bullet in the dick.
