My dad's favorite tv show back in the day and in b&w too. For some reason he always used to call Ben Cartright "BONANZA". Loved watching him all excited every time the guys got into a fist fight. Guess it reminded him of the good ol days as a street hustler before meeting my mom.

Great story! it makes sense. I also grew up with my Dad in Peru, So. America watching Bonanza and many other American shows. they were dubbed into Spanish. My dad had his own way of re-naming the different characters of the shows specially the westerns. Great times. Cheers!
