Love your videos, would love to see a technical tutorial on the sekonic c800 and your light meter. Also an explanation of color rendition and getting white balance for mixing different temperatures. Since I'm really buckling down on lighting but dont want to get into the habit of getting to set taking a reading and setting all my rbg lights to that color. Or even how to gel lights that arent bi color or rgb. Youre the MAN.

Great BTS walkthrough! I was just talking to a friend about filming some music videos for his work. Keep the videos coming Robert!

So damn sick. That minimal astera in the studio goes a loooong way. Way enough level up on the faces. Great!

Clean and simple. You love to see it. Speaking of Open Gate, it blows my mind that Sony hasn't given us a similar feature with the FX6, and FX3, since they're literally the same sensor as in the A7SIII which allows for 3:2 stills. Oh well, one can dream.

Thanks for sharing this. Awesome insight into your process. How are you liking your Mini LF? :)

Astera tubes are just plain awesome, as is the Mini LF. The only thing I don't really like is the reflection of the grid in the artist's sunglasses, but with limited resources, this is something you just have to live with. Nice job!
@SachinParmar20142 жыл бұрын
How would you get rid of that if you had the time?
@JulioBHJ2 жыл бұрын
@@SachinParmar2014 Flag it off and control the head movement of the talent a bit more. It's difficult, but sometimes it's this 1% more effort that makes the difference in the client's eyes.

Polarizer filter maybe?
@JulioBHJ2 жыл бұрын
@@yreyes1451 I'm not sure that would help with reflections on sunglasses.

As someone who aspires to own his one Alexa too…. It baffles me that your HBO recreation looked more cinematic than this footage. Still think the Gemini has one of the best looks in the red range.

Looks good. Did you use haze in Jessica's video shoot? I like how the backlight was flaring the top part of the frame and reducing contrast a touch but lower in the frame the contrast was normal.
@robchado2 жыл бұрын
No haze, just flare!

Please Please please, do a side by side Alexa mini LF against A7siii and let us download some sample footage, so we can really see the differences.
