​@@ARaye-rr8ld You are SO right! You have to have really bad editing/writing to fumble a couple that has proven countless times they have a ton of on-camera chemistry. I feel like I feel nothing for and know nothing about Colin after this season, whereas I went into season 2 NOT liking Anthony at all and absolutely changed my mind after watching. Why didn't they have emotional flashbacks to little Pen and Colin?? That would have been SO cute! Flashbacks worked so well in Season 2 (and in Queen Charlotte, omg I still tear up thinking about that show), it would have helped showcase and remind the audience of their long term friendship and bond. Pen is the only new spouse to the Bridgerton family that probably met and remembers their father before he died! (I didn't read the books so idk if that holds true for every spouse going forward) That would have been an amazing tie-in if that had been included in some way :( Lol sorry for the novel, rant over XD TLDR, I agree with you 100%

@@reneer7069 lol rant on. I get it. Also, I might be crazy, but it felt like they backtracked on somethings that had been established in 1 and 2? Maybe I need to rewatch, but it I kept thinking "wait didn't Cressida already try this?" Or "didn't they already address xyz in a previous season and now they're saying something else??" Can't think of good examples, but it was definitely confusing.

@@ARaye-rr8ld I got that same feeling! I can't think of anything specific off the top of my head either but I totally know what you mean! I felt like I was getting whiplash constantly from the story jumping around (and the editing was really jarring so that didn't help at all)

Looked into the disney incident and found that violence broke out at a Graduation event being held in the Concert Hall, person jumped from 2nd floor balcony and assulted a graduate and then violence broke out outside as well, 4 people arrested, supposed shots fired as shells were found but no injuries reported. 🤷‍♀️ Whether thats what you were evacuated for or not, I have no idea.

i would've been BEYOND freaked out if that happened to me at Disney, so i think y'all handled it really well! and the way everyone has been talking about this season of bridgerton has me feeling like i'm no longer missing out 😝 (although, to be fair, wouldn't some of this writing have been done during the strike? which would explain why it's so bad, because you KNOW they had people that can't write in there to "make things work") as always, much love!!💜💜

Queen Charlotte is my favorite then season 2, then 1 and yes season 3 was super disappointing. I did read the books between season 2 and three so I thought maybe that's what it was but idk, Nicola is an amazing actress and I love everything else she's in.

I didn't hate this season of Bridgerton but there was definitly a lot of stuff that could have been better. Also, I get why people are hating on the new show runner, but she's not the only issue. Whoever wrote the script messed up too and deserves a lot of the blame too. Like the writers gave Colin and Penelope no time to just be in love. We genuinely never got to see a calm moment of them without the stress of lady whistledown.

I was curious so I looked it up to see if anyone had said anything online -- apparently (according to people who were there, so idk if this is reliable) two guests jumped off mid-ride. I can't tell if anyone was seriously injured but law enforcement and medical personnel were called in so 🤷‍♀️

I agree with everything except for the pen and Colin sex scenes. I don’t think we see enough tender asking for consensual representation. it may not have been quite as steamy as the other seasons were but as a plus size girl, I really adored the way Luke looks at Nicola. As a queer girl, I am also super excited for Michaela and have mixed feelings about the way they wrote Benedicts queerness. I will agree with the stuff about the pacing , Cressida, and not enough pen and Colin

I watched pt 2 out of order just because I read the books and wanted to see how they ended it and I thought they had crammed so much in what did they do in the 3 shows before? I wanted to know what happened lord Alfred and what was the deal with selling of the bar for Will if there wasn’t some kind of deal, it was so unsatisfying. But I did love the costumes and the hair were amazing- the queen’s wigs were magnificent and I can’t imagine how heavy there were. I also felt they were trying to put to many storylines in this season and the one reason why I think they are leaving in the whistledown is to help explain what’s happening. 😂

Yes!!! This has been the Bridgerton rant I have been waiting for.. and I couldn't agree more with everything you said. I am so disappointed by this season. This season was so different from the others and in such a terrible way. The intimate scenes for Colin and Pen were so weird to me - I feel like they made the scenes too scripted (even the makeout/ kissing scenes) were not natural. I would go on, but I don't want to be super negative, like you said, haha

Something we thought was fun was the Otteroo for our babies in the bath or pool. It looks a little funny because it just floats their head above the water, but both of my babies loved it :)

Unpopular opinion but I LOVED Benedict’s story with Sophia in the books. I couldn’t understand how they were going to skip his story in the show since the time his story takes to play out is really crucial for Collin’s development. Idk I refuse to watch season 3 because in my head.. it just can’t be worth it
