For pumping on travel days, I would 100% recommend a portable car fridge that you plug into your car (the ones that look like coolers and can do freezing temps)! We originally got ours for cabin trips with friends pre-baby, but it was so helpful for storing pumped milk during nights out and trips with our little. Now that he's moved on to solids, it's great for keeping all of our drinks and snacks cold while we're on the go!

Your postpartum journey is so refreshing to see! I am almost 2 years past mine, but I can't count how many influencers I saw bounce back instantly (or so it seemed - I know they likely didn't and hid the struggles). Your open and honest talk is helping so many, no doubt!

For the kindle/libby issue: if you put your kindle in airplane mode, you can keep the book longer. I check out, download, and put on airplane mode so that the next person waiting can get it asap!

I was about to comment the same thing. I don't even have mine on airplane mode and as long as I stay in the book and don't go to the home screen it won't leave my kindle until I close it out and open something else.

Also you throwing out your milk is breaking my heart! Breast milk is good at room temp up to 6 hours ice packs and cooler too! Milk is liquid gold! Even if you dont want feed the baby the milk...milk baths are great for their skin ❤

If you want to try something else for augusts sleep, the magic Merlin sleep suit worked really well for my baby! Let’s them have their arms out, but the fabric is kinda thick so they can’t fling their arms around and wake themselves up. 😊

I believe CDC says pumped breast milk is good at room temp for 4 hours (I'm sure you already know that). And, if you wanted, you could save the expired milk for bath time.
