Gosh, this sounds like a lot of work, you must be super organized to know everything that's going on with three different books in a year all at different stages. Then managing talks as well, you certainly deserve that day off. I am pleased you mentioned about self-publishing, there seems to be a bit of stigma attached to that. My friend has published three books herself, and some people have been quite rude about the fact she doesn't have a publisher, but I think it's brave for a person to put their work out there. I am putting a short reading list together for the upcoming season, and wondered if you have any favourite autumnal reads/recommendations? I hope you have a lovely weekend and get to enjoy a day off on Sunday.

It is a busy time but it is my full-time job, I guess. I recently found someone to help set me up on a system that keeps me organised and on top of things which has been incredibly useful. People sometimes have the wrong idea about self-publishing. It's becoming more popular with writers because of the freedom to create what you want and publish when you want to. I know a lot of writers who initially self-published, then have been taken on by traditional publishers. Many of them also returned to self-publishing because they preferred working that way. People can be their own publisher these days. Apart from my own Love Begins at Golden Sands Bay😉, I loved New Beginnings at the Old Bakehouse by Christie Barlow (her books are wonderful).
