If the Original Battlestar Galactica didn't have Substance and Worth. Then The show would not be Garnering attention now, just under 25 Years Since It First came On.

Hi There To me this guy (Glen A. Larson) is a legend, not only did he give us Battlestar Galactica, but he also gave us 6 Million Dollar Man, Knight Rider, Automan & The Highwayman. May he always entertain us with his masterpieces. The Original Battlestar had so much interaction, the new Battlestar was too rushed. Regards Gerann

Looking forward in seeing his Battlestar Galactica feature film coming out.I hope it is successful and there are reports FOX may want the new TV series.ABC gave him a raw deal by not giving him the time and money to make the TV series and write the really good scripts.

The show was just starting to find its groove when it got cancelled for no good reason. Fan outrage got it resurrected Pet Sematary style, then that dreadful NBG broke my heart.

Hi There Ok, I didn't know that. But I am looking forward to the new Movie as you mentioned. I hope Dirk Benedict, Richard Hatch and many of the old cast should make a cameo appearance. That would be really nice to see. Regards Gerann

Was this shot recently? It's brilliant. Should do one with Larson and David Hasselhoff for "KNIGHT RIDER".

I don't know, I really feel with the new series they went a little to much on the cliche of "Man created the machines that rebelled" origin, that has been waaaaay over used in many SIFI franchises (most notably Terminator) and the original origin for the Cylons was much more original and much more believable. Also, the 78' series was a groundbreaker in Special effects and the Science fiction genre. The new one didn't really innovate that much.

Terminator was six years after the original Battlestar Galactica, not before.

Was Glen Larson a Mormon? Wikipedia says nothing about his early life.

Yes, he was Mormon at one point, but no information if he was LDS since birth or if he left the church later on in life.

Too bad Larson never endorsed Ronald D. Moore's re-imagination like Richard Hatch did.

Long live Battlestar Galactica - the Original and Only Incarnation!😇😎😊👍✌️ It was outrageous how Galactica was cut short (and screwed from the very beginning!😕) and then instead of a bonafide continuation (from either Messrs Larson, Hatch and/or DeSanto & Singer) we get frakking GINO! What Ron Moore did was VERY much a forerunner of the butchering and bastardization of other franchise IPs to come whereby the designated showrunners/producers either don't know or don't care about the source material, and just tailor it to their whims..just because! 👎🤬😡☹️ At least with other franchises there has been some pushback, with the possibility of a course correction...but sadly with Galactica it looks as though it will be more GINO to come! 😖🤔😤👎 At least Dynamite Comics has given some continuation of Larson's lore and legacy! 😇😎👍🙏

Glenn should stick to talking about TV. His ignorance of science here is pretty laughable.

It’s hilarious that on social media we have all these armchair quarterbacks who nobody knows or cares about mouthing off on someone who created many great shows.

They really fucked up a great tv show when they remade it. I hear they are looking at doing it again. Take heed of what people are saying and go back to the grass roots of the original show.
