But why you forgot to eliminate the bridge Shadow when the Bus is coming?! The hole scene is ridiculous but who cares, it's a great movie and one of my favorites!!!

There is something that bothers me with this jump. In the making off, you can see how the landing is totally different from the final shot. If you watch the full jump the bus touches the ground with a higher angle and the rear of the bus is damaged severely, whereas here in this video which is the final shot, the angle is lower and it doesn´t damaged the rear. So, they had to do it at least twice. But in the making off videos they said they didn´t have more budget to try a second time and Jan de Bont was really upset about that. So, why they didn´t admit that they had to do it twice?

More than likely the bus explosion was either special effects or it was done off set. which was later composited to the plate shot
