@Eden-dm3lf So I googled again and Kevin would've been 37 when the movie came out in 92. He could've been 35 when he first started working on it. Because I read somewhere he was 35 when he began. And since he was born Jan of 1955 he would've been 37 all of 1992 regardless of what month it came out in 92. And Whitney was 29 by the time it hit the theaters but 28 during filming.

I always believed that Whitney should never have married Bobby. He was jealous of her and couldn't handle her success. Kevin was more mature and would have not only been supportive but even encouraged her and lifted her up. If Whitney and Kevin had married, I believe she'd be alive today. Being Whitney's husband should have motivated Bobby to be a better man and come UP to her level and status. Instead, she compromised and went DOWN to his level and it destroyed her.😢

I think Kevin was impacted by Whitney the way he actually saw her being in the movie. Seeing her as possibly a R&B diva and probably being impressed that she actually can act and has a wild unique personality that doesn't look like the personality on music videos. Costner has a natural introvert personality to him and Whitney has a natural wild extraverted personality about her that works together with chemistry.

I think the timing of this film ended up being spot on because the talent in front of and behind the camera made this film very special and it still holds up 30 years later. Miss you Queen.

Kevin was the actor here and because of his professional skill, his care and patience, Whitney could do this and she did a GREAT job too!!! BRAVO. AND HER SINGING always stupendous.

My heart is breaking as I watch this to think such a gifted and immeasurable talent came to the tragic end that she did. I believe I'm going to dig it out and watch it again tonite.

I know that actors are suppose to project their feelings and emotions in a movie to make it as real as possible. That said, the chemistry between Kevin and Whitney is off the chart. Kevin admitted in The Oprah show that he has fallen for Whitney in real life. That's much is clearly evident in the movie.

She was my first crush because of this movie. I was like 10 haha. Just watched it again tonight and yup, still there.

My gorgeous favorite actor, Kevin Costner...The Bodyguard will forever be my favorite movie because it was a great story but mainly because the chemistry between Whitney and Kevin was beyond impressive and even after she died we see Kevin totally devastated...I don't think eithet had to struggle learning the script!!! R.I.P dear Whitney we Will always miss you.... On an aside there is a hacker advertising himself as Kevin Costner....i nearly fell for it but i smelt a rat and todo him so.... . Kevin torally

I read in a bonus chapter of "On My Way to Hollywood" the actor named Roman Castle mentioned Robert Deniro sending Whitney gifts. Cissy wasn't having it and put everything into a box and sent it back. That book was a page-turner that left me wanting more. And I'm not a big reader. LOL

30 years later and it still stands the test of time and has entered into Hollywood contemporary legend. I used to watch this movie over and over again when it came out that I realized that the actor who plays Rachel's stalker, the one with her photos in his locker, he's the dad of two kids that was in the high school band with me. Suddenly, he shows up for one of the shows to help us out and, holy crap, that's the creepy guy that says "Nooooo" in the movie. He was also in Dances With Wolves but I just remember him from The Bodyguard. He was very nice so not a creepy guy LOL. Pretty crazy how some things just stand out when you least expect it. 😎👍

@@Badmanruth Yeah, we've had some great artists come from my school so it's pretty cool knowing some of them and others I happen to be fans of their music. I just get a kick out of Tony saying "Noooo", creeps me out and yet makes me laugh too.

I can't find Mike Starr, who played, Tony in the Bodyguard, anywhere in the list of cast for, Dances With Wolves. What part did he play? TIA
@JustTanya. Жыл бұрын
@@pamelajohnson7813 No, it's not him. It's the stalker who was obsessed with Rachel. He's the one that says "Nooooo" when the police question him. That actor's name is Tony Pierce and he was also in Dances With Wolves and Near Dark.
