My sister has worked once with their film team as a set designer. She told me that one of the reasons why BTS or Bighit in general rarely uses locations on their music videos are for: 1. Security purposes. One of them told her that when BTS goes out, they'll need a hundred to 200 securities but that still can't guarantee their safety cuz there are lots of crazy fans so they prefer enclosed warehouses or spaces or a massive land area to film most of their contents. *fun fact: their new company building "HYBE" has one of the most intense security systems. doors require passwords and even iris recognition, especially inside practice rooms and the members' own musical studios. Even Jessi, a popular figure in Korea, said it took her 30 minutes just to go inside the PRACTICE ROOM. believe it or not, crazy things made them do this 2. NO SPOILER. nobody likes spoilers. if you are BTS paparazzi are everywhere and will not make you breathe. BTS sometimes use locations for their performances and with that only, most of the time, pictures spread out like wildfire even before the actual performance and it spoils out the whole surprise that everybody is anticipating. 3. Originality. there are lots of kpop groups out there and Korea is not that big at all. One of the main issues Bighit wants to prevent are accusations of plagiarism or unoriginality and uninventiveness. BTS IS THE BRAND, NO COPIES, JUST WORLDWIDE CLASS THINGS. 4. Aesthetics. The BTS members themselves contribute even to the smallest details of their contents and not just their own music. Most of their imaginations and ideas cannot be comprehended by a simple location so most of the time the teams prefer making/recreating sets than locations to match the needs of their ideas and aesthetics

I just love how Alex is so focused on just the mv lol, when suga started rapping fast and he went Ooooo I didn't expect a "Ooo that's a trailer home" 😂 I really thought he'd comment on the rap. Also this isn't something wrong or anything that I'm complaining about, his forte is filmmaking so he'd obviously be more drawn to the little details in mv. It was just funny to me because I didn't expect it

Talking about how this MV reflects Suga personality it's because when they release a mixtape everything is planned by the members themselves. This is a deal with BigHit, so they have to pay with their own money the video, staff and all this things, so MV by Agust D, RM and JH are so different. Suga explains this on a Vlive, if I'm wrong please correct me. ☺️

This is actually tied for my favorite track of his, and I think it's my favorite MV of his. Daechwita is very visually impressive but something about the rawness and relatively simplicity of this one really appeals to me. The color grading and how it flicks in and out of warm and cool tones drew my attention immediately. It reminded me of the Chinese film Hero where the different perspectives are coded into the color choices of any given scene (Perhaps my favorite foreign film, so pretty...), so I caught onto the idea that blue was "Suga" while the orange was "Agust D" fairly quickly.

There’s another MV from this same album that I guess kinda connects. This set leads to another, I guess you’d say?
