It's funny to see her hair plastered in place with hairspray! And teased and fluffed up in the usual style of the times. She's always so worried something will happen to Rob.

That's not much of a motorcycle! Lol The actor who played Richie looked like he was struggling not to laugh when he first came into the garage and saw Rob on the bike! Dick Van Dyke was so funny in these.

What a fun episode - so many motorcycle jokes! I've been riding for 50 odd years, and still love riding almost every day. K1300GT...or my 1980 Dnepr sidecar. Sorry that Rob decided not to keep it, but Sally now - she should love riding!

$2.00 for 8 hamburgers, with everything! Wow!! Those were the days!! "Calvada," written on the wall of the hamburger stand, was the name of Carl Reiner's production company. An aggregate of some important people in his life. Another episode featured a character named Big Max Calvada, played by the brilliantly menacing Sheldon Leonard. He was also attached to the production of the DVD Show. As a vaguely connected sidebar, the characters of Sheldon and Leonard on The Big Bang Theory, were named to honour Sheldon Leonard, the brilliant tough-guy character actor, mentioned above. You're welcome.

this was the best comedy show of the 60s. i don't think there was one bad episode. personally, i didn't like the one's about sally, though. they kinda make me sad. but i think season 4 is their best season. even the episode about sally was good that season. just one excellent show after another all year long.

Bullet Man, the Human Bullet, is an oddity either ignored or fanatically loved by GI Joe collectors. With his chromed helmet and arms, and always stylish singlet he is ready to assist the Adventure Team in their battle against the Intruders.

That motorcycle dubbed "Big Red" that 'Robby Baby' bought is not really a Geronimo, it's actually a 1965 Harley Davidson M50.

Laura is always bossing Rob, treats him as a child. I'm surprised he doesn't have to get her permission to breathe. I can't see Rob as the motorcycle type, though. This episode is funny.

I always wonder where Ritchie is. Kids usually are in the living room, but Ritchie seems to spend an a lot of time somewhere else. At least in my house during that time period. We were in the living room watching black and white tv.

Gasoline prices averaged 30-31cents/gal over the run of this series (1961-1966), which was $1.83-1.91 in 2015 dollars.

I began my first gas station job in 1970. Standard price for a gallon of regular, installed by me or one of my coworkers was 27.9¢. Add two cents more for mid grade and another two for premium grade. Often, we'd have competition price drops, sometimes called gas wars. Regular would drop to 19.9¢/gal. That only lasted a few years until Aramco was nationalized by Saudi Arabia, leading to the oil embargo and the price gouging of the American and European peoples. It's still happening because our government failed to keep the supply of oil on the free market, allowing middle eastern sand fleas to enrich themselves on the oil our companies mined out of their territory.

He was actually 10 y.o. IRL in this episode. When the show was made in the mid-60's, though, Carl Reiner didn't think it'd ever go into syndication and reruns, so goofs were just overlooked, him thinking it wouldn't matter in the future.

Larry Mathews was 10 y.o., not 8, when this episode was made. He was far too tall and big to be playing the part of an 8 y.o., but they could have made him 10 without issue.

Why is there always somebody coughing on these laugh tracks? These shows were not recorded with a live studio audience, so the coughs could have been easily edited out before being laid down here.
