The wife is smart to portray how much she hates her then husband. The public is not too kind to spouses of criminals who defended their innocence at some point, or stay somewhat silent after the fact. She made sure to distance herself from any knowledge of his actions and detest him as a human. It’s refreshing to see that.

As a boater and fisherman myself I could see the video of his "fishing" was total bullshit. This was either his first time rowing a boat and fishing or he was really bad at it. He was rowing the boat backwards. When you row a boat your back faces the front of the boat so the boat moves forward through the water. Then the fake fishing, just casting and reeling in the line without even checking the bait. No bait, no actual fish, no "fish on" moments. Clearly this was a video just to show he was on a boat and not someplace else.

@@lyndafayesmusic I didn't want to reply to this, but since I see your same comment everywhere, I will. Prosecutors need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the suspect committed the crime. They're trying to convince a jury of regular people that he/she is guilty. So while it may be obvious to you that the recording was staged, it may not be obvious to a jury. Comparing a video to old movies would probably not be enough information to prove that his alibi was faked, but I imagine most people can grasp the concept of how sundials work, so it would be easier to explain how the video was staged. Especially since your explanation is so incoherent that I can't really understand what point you are trying to make. Comparing the video to a movie (or movies) made decades ago that are edited and probably with some special effects added may not be sufficient enough evidence to prove their point. Afterall, movies are make-believe and are probably not admissible as evidence in a murder trial. If you don't like the fact that they spent so much money getting a scientist to explain to a jury the problems in the video to help prove that this man murdered a woman, I just don't know what to say to you. And if you have a problem with how they are "filling up the show" with evidence that you think unnecessary, why are you bothering to watch the show?

It's a little off topic, but here goes; I live in New Bern, NC and there's a picture framing gallery here - The Framing Fox Gallery. According to the sign it originated in Doylestown, PA. I always think about this episode when I see that shop and I have to wonder if Jennifer's widower Steve transplanted himself down here after the murder of his wife, even though it's Spring Grove, not Doylestown. By car, Doylestown is only a bit over two hours away from Spring Grove. I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina, but met and married a man from Levittown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania and we lived there for several years before we divorced. I used to love going by train to the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia and having something to eat, then having Bassetts (sp?) ice cream for dessert. So good!

The whole video tape reminds me of my sister's friend telling her "I'm not an alcoholic" when she didn't even say anything and then got arrested for drunk driving.

It's crazy to think when he was making that video he was plotting murder at that very moment we saw him rowing a boat

I remember this episode . I love it cuz it was the video of his fishing trip and the shadow direction of the sun that revealed the real-time he went fishing

Too bad they weren't able to solve the crime when they saw the FAKE FISHING video? Obvious clue Number 2 was... The BOAT NEVER MOVED while the background did Not if you'd ever seen a car scene from a Cary Grant movie ? THEY USED to intrigue us, until we realized the FINANCIAL WASTE on analysts that were not even necessary to solving and OR proving a crime; yes, and the WIFE ought a consider this :The BOAT SCENE was not a "reenactment" it was actual footage of the VIDEO recording. No offense to Forensic Files' Dr. Boyle, but did they REALLY need to employ an astrophysicist to analyze the sun an shadows for them ? Had none of the investigators ever seen one of the many films starring Cary Grant driving down those curvy Malibu Roads, depicting NO ROCKING nor movement inside of the CAR, while the backgrounds were moving continually? Proving the FILM VIDEO was not authentic should have saved them allot of investigation FUNDS ? Why are the hoopla? i.e. "artist models and light bulbs ? AND DID YOU VISIT THE STRIP CLUBE BTW? NO BOAT during the weight of a passenger such as this perpetrator claiming to be CASTING for fish...could have been photographed with ABSOLUTELY NO MOVEMENT on behalf of the fisherman ? WHY WASTE ALL THAT MONEY' GO GET A FILM OF CARY GRANT AND STATE THE FACT. THE BOAT HAD ABSOLUTELY NO MOVEMENT on any of the weight shifts of the fisherman? AN IMPOSSIBLE PHYSICAL FEAT. .GOOD CLUE constantly looking at his watch but COME ON; THIS WAS AN EASY ONE. "I Ain't no Middleman"FredGold&LyndaFayeLyndaFayesmusic@yahooI welcome personal comments and opinions.too many unnecessary analysts, just to make the SHOW ? "Beauty is as Beauty Does" that's for the guys who can't stay awake without cute prosecutors ?Ha.
