True. but Caitlin did get support from her teammates maybe not to the level we fans want but at least they did try to be better to level with her even a bit.

IOWA had more players drafted to the WNBA than the winners teams of LSU or South Carolina, but she didin't have help, right? Hannah Stuelske, that also made part of that team, will be drafted in the first round easily if she wants to continue with basketball.

@@soph0463 LSU is understandable because they had a better constructed roster and a viable gameplan against iowa. But acting as though SC isn't a full blueblood is ridiculous. These rosters jam packed with 4-5 stars. Caitlin and Hannah were the only 4+ stars on their team. Nobody except Iowa fans believed Kate Martin was actually going to make a roster and she probably wont be on one in two years unless the expansion draft saves her.

@@mkdugan8109 till 4 min to the end of the game IOWA were winning, because of points that Sydney affolter and Kate Martin had made, what killed IOWA that game was their mentality and their lack of bench. The starters of IOWA could and were winning against the starters of SC, but the bench of SC was fundamental that day while the bench of IOWA was inefficient.

@@mkdugan8109 Kate played solid minutes before her injury and was one of the first players off the bench. However, after her injury and the break, something changed. Still, I doubt the team will let her go anytime soon, considering she performed well in the first half of the season and how much the fans love her. People forget that she was a rookie on a two-time championship team. Nika Muhl, who was a higher draft pick, got waaay less minutes on a weaker team. Megan Gustafson, an Olympian for Spain, was also getting fewer minutes than Kate during the first half of the season. Considering she was the 18th pick, Kate actually played a lot. She was never going to be a starter on the Aces- I can count on less that one hand the rookies that would get more playing on the Aces. Becky Hammon is known for limiting bench and rookie minutes, look at KB, but Kate even started 2 games already this season. People need to calm down and recognize that Kate got more playing time than most rookies would on a 2 time championship that was a contender.
