Hard-core DC fan was I. I ran a fan page with 100k Facebook followers. Last year stopped expecting anything and minding my own business. I knew they made a mistake when they blindly recruited horror directors foolishly thinking they'd succeed just because first movies of James wan and David f Sandberg movies were hit ie Aquaman and Shazam. They ended up making utter flops. Can't blame them though they should be given freedom. Finding visionary directors like Marvel does is the key factor that Warner Bros was unable to grasp. DC movies like the animated ones that Warner Bros barely put their hands on were so confident, entertaining, elevating, good story etc. But those movies that WB put their hands on were flops because they don't listen to their fans and don't let DC itself make decisions. Whatever in my entire life had I never been excited about a batman/joker movies. They have plenty of characters that Marvel made use of like Deathstroke /X men/cosmic level characters that they invested for the character development and created hype, interest to audience. DC never made a Deadpool/green arrow/cyborg/many more small yet interesting characters. I like that they made a blue beetle movie even though it was a bit of a routine story, I was excited about it and enjoyed it. A good story would've made it a really good movie... Whatever no excitement to any DC movies until Superman even though they went against their audience liking in terms of casting let's see what James Gunn has to offer. Suicide squad 2 was also a good movie. Until Warner Bros concentrate on cgi they would never see a hit movie because all they do is make use of the night time scenes to put their budget as little as possible this is sick. Come on

Id rather watch TRUE FANS of the comic books make fan films. Just about every comic based fan film (DC, Marvel, indy's etc) i've watched has been better than the BS marvel & DC have pumped out. Hollywood/Disney/Warner have absolutely ruined everything they have put their hands on.
