Reminded me of my school days....was not the typical backbencher but wasn't the topper as well. So somehow during seat rotations I got to sit beside this guy who would later get a 3 digit rank in JEE Advanced. Like I had an idea that he was just a nerd would not even take notice of me and the general ideas that we have of such people. But God was I wrong....he was such a good guy...we would talk, he'd ask how my exams went. It went to a point where I dared to ask him his number...though I was thinking that I would be told off...but he gave me his number. He even explained difficult concepts of Physics to me. He was such a sweet guy. After passing out, he went on to IIT and I could not even qualify for JEE Advanced. But I was able to get a 90 in Boards...all thanks to him. Love angle wasn't there b/w us...but this skit was quite on point to show that there are boys who are toppers and girls who are backbenchers against the general trope that the society just shoves on us.
