I don't understand the purpose of cleaning out the bunker, unless the local council requested it. It wasn't the woman's property, and she needed the local social services to intervene for her mental and physical health.
@amethyst18263 жыл бұрын
So she shouldn't clean up her mess?
@2eleven483 жыл бұрын
@@amethyst1826 ...I strongly doubt that the woman suddenly decided to give the place a clean-up for her own sake. I would suggest that outside influence came to bear, such as with rodent infestation or council hygiene standards (a toilet and septic tank not on the premises, for example). The TV company assisted in the cleaning, because it was damn good television (and thus provoking our comments).
@EmbraceWithin3 жыл бұрын
Isn't she the owner of the bunker?
@2eleven483 жыл бұрын
@@EmbraceWithin ....That's an interesting question. Apparently, war-time bunkers are now being sold off by the Ministry of Defence and can indeed be administered by estate agents or put up for auction. It's not stated, if I recall correctly, in the programme if she is the owner or merely squatting.
@Koselill3 жыл бұрын
Well they say its her home and she herself said she had nothing left in the area, wished to move and start anew. They also said she wants rid of it all. Perhaps she asked for aid so she can sell it and buy herself a new house somewhere else near her friends? From what I have seen with hoarding (and Ive watched a few shows), sometimes all they need is a new start and they'll keep it clean, and sometimes they'll continue with their bad habits. She didnt seem attached or upset, so Im leaning more towards that she'll somewhat keep it clean, but who knows. They did say she is awaiting her new home. I hope she's doing well now! Edit: Well in the very last minute they do indeed say she is moving!
