Fastest way to get Ethereals is to farm visions of enmity and just skip picking things up unless you are short on forgotten souls, or looking for something specific e.g. set pieces, rings, satchels etc.
This does lead to a shortage of XP, echoing nightmare keys and lack of gem levels, so I personally prefer farming GR100 as fast as I can. Add move speed where you can.

Fastest method for finding the ethereal items
Make a Witch Doctor and take to level 31 so you can roll shards and get lots of puzzle rings (skip if you ahve lots saved up)
Make character you want the ethereal for, set to normal and take character to level 5 inside Greeds Realm (I'd do Torment 4), then drop to normal.
Kill greed and collect your ethereal items.
1 in 8 runs will fail and you will get two Leoric crowns - say more prayers to RNGesus and get back after it.

A couple of tips that works imho: 1. Upgrade 2h polearm into Bovine Bardiche with a lvl 1 monk or crusader at Kanai’s cube (I think the crus will get the most). Fast and you always get 1 or maybe 2 vision every polearm, so you probably get the material you spend on craft back 2. Keep more of the item you want to reforge into primordial (like Buriza for god dh, for example). If you reroll and reroll goes wrong, just salvage it, and you get 55 primordial ashes back, so half of a primal and every two roll you’ll get a free reroll Sorry for the long text and for any error inside of it 😅 Hope it helps 🤟🏻

I find the best way to get Visions to spawn is to have a specific task you're trying to get done in a short amount of time. I was trying to farm RoRGs for my build and I had Visions spawn three times in a single map. that is, I spawned one, cleared it, went back to the original map to continue, spawned another, etc. this game seems to love trolling me. as another example, last night I decided to tackle the speed Neph Rift task in the Season Journey. and like an idiot, I spoke it out loud, resolving to ignore gear drops, and the game heard me. in that one rift I spawned a Primal, and three Goblins including one Gelatinous. and I failed the task 😆

My suggestion would be to pick up 1 slot items like rings/amulets as you can fill your inventory with more salvages than picking up those and 2 slot items

Another good place to open a Vision portal is in the Butcher level 3 (Act 1) and also levels 2 and 1. Very good density, so easy to tear through and hopefully get a portal to open. That makes at least 4 good areas in Act 1 to get a portal to spawn.

You've earned a Jaffa cake! 🍪🍩🍪🍩🍪🍩 Festering Wood is also a dense area. And you earn more XP in later chapters. So a chest event in act 5 is best for Ethereals with the most XP earned while focusing on Ethereals.

A good way to spawn portals fast is using Bovine Bardich ,usualy i can get 3 to 4 portals out of one bovine

I just started getting confident with torment levels. I can run up to level 2 maybe 3. But torment 1 is what i can do the fastest.

Me and my friend just bought the game, we started playing together i was playing necromancer and he was playing wizard. Around level 8 he got The Oculus from something idk. Any idea on how i can get something like that cause he outdamages me

Found a buriza with 65% cd on vengeance low dex roll but I'm happy for dh 3 classes down for ethereals so far dh/barb/wiz I will say dh breezes through GRs Best of luck on your ethereals! Thanks for the content and guidance!

Always great videos buddy. Im buying a ps5 in December im hoping by then diablo 4 is a lot better. Looks like its going in the rite direction tho. Do u like diablo 4 atm? I think they have missed the fun of grinding for leader boards not first to 100 and thats it.

Since he didn't reforge it more than once we don't know whether or not the Leg Power is perm or if it can change to a dif so I'll have to try it out

Are you a GoD DH? What quiver are you using if you have HA on your Ethereal?

@@RRR006 they dont stack, so getting that option on it is basically not really useful. What you ultimately want is probably either a dawn or ballista effect, but they are insanely hard to get lol

@@russelljackson8153 You want Valla or Ballista or Dawn on your Ethereal and have HA on your quiver. You will benefit more than using random quiver.

Ferret 10% move speed is capped and doesn't do anything if you already have 25% from paragons. Same with +10-12% rolls on gear.

The 10% from altar is uncapped, and shows a total of 35% in your stats when you add the 25% from paragon/gear.

If you use the cube to upgrade the Ethereal to a primal, does that keep the same passive or does it re-roll it to something random like the reforge does?

good if this works for you, but it obviously doesnt work for everyone... here´s my "the game is mocking me" status... i´m para 2k, just for reference of my playtime... i got 1 usable krysbins, 1 usable convention of elements and 2 usable etherals, since season start... krysbins and coe are both non ancient, so cant be augmented... havent seen one of either in ancient, since season start... (got one ancient coe from kadala, but no crit chance, no crit dmg and elemental bonus was 153%, compared to my non ancient coe with 199%)... same goes for haunted visions and squirts... i also put 3k+ primordial ashes in upgrading 1 necklace... got one with physical and crit dmg - no crit chance? not once!!! the rest was vit, int, life per hit and other non offensive stats... and havent seen an etheral since last week wednesday...so much for that!!! and visions??? besides doing at least 20 to 30 a day regularly - i farmed visions for 3 days straight and i got jack sh*t... most of the time, i had to clear at least three to four maps, to get 1 vision and its mostly 1 to 2 lvls with nothing but deats breath, a few yellows and one or two legendaries...not even keys drop... etherals in those 3 days??? 4!!! all useless... sp 4 etherals in constantly farming nothing but visions...yeah, thats worth wasting your time, now is it??? and just a few minutes ago - full cow lvl cleared - no vision... new game - weeping hollow, festering woods and temple of the....all three maps wiped empty - no vision... and ancients drop rate??? took me 5 days to get my nec full ancient... my wiz, monk and dh are still 100% non ancient, except for 1 etheral and a crafted necklace, also without crit chance... now someoene explain that to me...

Just make yourself a primal weapon..If you have tonnes of primals to burn to try and upgrade to a primal that has what you want on it.

But is useful if gold is on your list. You can burn through 10 billion sooner than expected when you always run GRs in bonus mode.

I had fun with D3 again because i thought they are permanent, something to farm for all my fav classes to build really strong chars, but then i lost all interest, i thought they learned a thing or two from POE, since they will not take your stuff away, even if it's OP and later patched, the original stays as it was. Good thing POE2 is out soon and we will have some great ARPG again :)
