Good morning, Kevin! - I'm curious to see whether the snow and rain flight capability of the new X8 is as reliable as its ability to land precisely... I was impressed by both of these things in the previous models. And I don't understand why automatic precision landing is no longer possible with the X8 Tele. But it seems that Xiaomi has made the flightware worse... Otherwise: Another beautiful view of your harbor and the bay in front of it. The tiny size of the large cruise ship showed how much you can be mistaken about the width of the waters. Without this size comparison, I would have greatly underestimated the width of the bay. That's what happened to me recently with shots I took of the Rhine near Königswinter and the Drachenfels. In the aerial shots, the already quite wide river there looked like a narrower river... Anyway: It was a pleasure to see one of your videos again. Thank you very much for your tireless work in keeping us up to date with the technical changes and innovations! very weird indeed that this one misses the landing pad every now and then,seems like every second attempt it lands on the pad and i hope they correct this,it isn't a big deal for me as it does come within a few feet no matter what but it should be hitting that pad every time like the previous models done.As for the harbor,it is very wide,i think if i tried to fly across at that point it would most likely be about 2km or more to the other side but if i were at the park up the end of town it is much more narrow and is only 1km across as i have flown to the other side from up there.Have a good evening brother and take care.

It doesn't zoom in night mode video, but it does on night mode time lapse. You have to turn the ISO way down to get rid of interference. Don't trust the rain proof. Mine was out in the mist and the camera has been getting fogged inside lens cover.

i had that happen with one of my fimi minis,your best bet is to buy a glass sealant,its a sort of silicone and pop that glass out and seal it up,i done it one one and it worked great,i have noticed fimi removed the rubber seal on the tele in the battery compartment and honestly i could see it having leakage there.

@@capeRCouple Hey I have a serious issue with my Tele controller... I can feel the radiation on my left palm, where the wire shoots threw the extender and lays at the bottom of the left side. If I fly for a while it starts to hurt my hand and I can feel the electric waves. Notice that or could it be out of tune and not all leaving thru the ant.. Instead just radiating out of anywhere it can.. Scary I was ordering copper mesh gloves to protect myself..

hard time at the moment to be buying a drone, so many decent options, the picture quality on the neo is great and its a tough drone in a crash, the mini3 and se get good pictures too, spending a little more the tele and the pro, its a tough choice between those two...., and if you had the cash for one of those would you? for that money your into the dji area... did i mention i dont like dji, the drones are good but the company i'm unsure of since 'the flip of death' era

I can tell you to just buy the tele and not the tele pro as its obstacle avoidance will not be actual avoidance just like the x8 pro as it only has obstacle detection and will not avoid anything but will just stop dead when it sees an object.Im not sure fimi will get this type of avoidance correct anytime soon.They are a decent company but are not close to dji yet.
