Even with your Black Friday shopping spree you are very close to your goal. That is great. Yes, next year I am also on a replacement only no buy. The only exeptions are one or two trousers with an elastic waistband for late spring/early summer and maybe two pair of new shorts. Everything else I have more than enough of

@@vickilouise7764 Yes, there is always work to be done. But you made so much progress, you can be happy with it. Yes, I mean, why should I buy way more clothes than I need or want? Or make up or other products? I want to know what I have at my disposal and not have clutter everywhere. And I don't know about you, but when I can't access my stuff easily, I forget about it and don't use it.

I think the only category that surprises me is foundations. Having backups of your favourite products and a range of lip products and cheek products when you have such a limited number of eye products is very reasonable. I can see your channel evolve as you continue to explore your personal style in 2024.

I love inventory videos! I think you are doing well and you can get many categorys in control during your no-buy year 😁 I'm not doing a no-buy or low-buy next year becouse I've been on a low-buy for a couple years now. We'll see how that goes 😄

Great video. You’re going in the right direction. I tend not to count unopened back up as part of my numbers thats made me stop and think. My goal was to get my eye and base items into a make up bag. I treated myself to an elizabeth scarlett wash bag everything fits in there and my smaller bag with my project items fits in and I can zip it up. My lipsticks and pencils all fits in a small basket. I posted my inventory on my makeup instagram and was pleasantly shocked at the numbers. That said I will be on a low buy again. Nail polish, blush, fragrance and powder are no buys. Lipstick I will be one out, one in as a general rule but if I break that I will be fine with it - it’s my weakness. Currently can get cream bronzer but not in a rush as enjoying my powder bronzers. 2024 PP is 50/50 make up/ beauty products. Heres to even better panning in 2024 🎉🎉

Since being recommended your video by youtube and one other creator, Sarah Rose, I have decided to begin my own project pan for 2024. I was actually writing up a list of my makeup inventory right before watching this video. For the most part I have one item for most makeup categories, however where I have multiple, for example, foundation/skin tints, blush, lip products and eyeshadow palettes, I realised I’m mostly happy with what I have although I would make a few changes. After going through my inventory, there are some items I would like to replace with different products once they’re used up, others I realised I just don’t love because they don’t work on me or I’ve outgrown and want to declutter, and some categories I wish to expand because I like them and do use frequently. My goal is very similar to yours, I’d like to use up what I have and be on a replacement low-buy. I realised that I don’t need a lot to be happy, I just need the things I love and use a lot. At the end of 2023, I decluttered all but two of my eyeshadow palettes because they have expired and irritated my eyes. I bought 2 new ones from Sigma with colours I would use often and I’m more than happy with just having 2 palettes. I have decided to declutter the two that I saved from my declutter because I’ve outgrown them. This is my first year project-panning, I think it’ll be an interesting challenge. Black Friday is great if you know how fast you go through products otherwise I feel like I often tend to buy more than I actually need. I just did my makeup inventory for my blog and put numbers to everything while I did it and oh boy 😅 I am really committed now to make sure I get use out of it and be more responsible and conscious when it comes to my spending.

I’m trying to minimize skin, body and hair care for 2024 moreso than makeup though I’m doing a no buy for makeup in 2024. I’m afraid to do a count. Do you recall anything said in your HoC consultations on blushers?

Good luck with your no buy! Counting what's in your collection and keeping an up to date inventory is scary at first but really important to keep on track of things. My HoC consultant said to match your blusher to your ear, my perfect shade is like a muted peach, nothing very vibrant.
