Here are some tips for Armored Core newcomers: - AC6 has a lot of replay value due to the decisions made in the campaign (that includes multiple endings), as well as the unlockables of New Game + and beyond! - You DO NOT need to have played the previous AC games to get into this one, very similar on how Final Fantasy dev teams create its titles. - The series different from Souls. - The movement speed in AC6 is between AC3 and AC5 - There is a heavy focus on customization: do not get attached to a single build and be flexible. - There are plenty of custom paint jobs and the posibility of downloading weapons for making decals. - Legs are one of the most important parts of your mech, because they determine how much weight your vehicle can carry. - Your power engine / energy source is on other one as it modifies the amount of energy available, as well as how slow or fast your energy bar will recharge, when its depleted.

BioWare isn't Bioware we remember anymore. All the best writers left or were fired. And the writing was what made ME or DA great or good (depending on game). So really, to be honest, I wouldn't care if the studio was closed. Ofc it sucks for the people affected, but as a gamer I just don't feel like Bioware can deliver anything great.

Armored Core 6 was an absolute blast. NG+ and NG++ are treasures each. The gameplay is legendary level. The mech building isn't as complex as previous titles and I'm not doing that much justice. It's severely less complex even though it still looks complex to a newcomer. I don't think that's a bad thing because due to the phenomenal gameplay, you can take one build and play it several different ways. That's the part that made it so awesome. Yes, there are a few weapons which are grossly overpowered. Zimmermans being top of the list.
@docnoximus Жыл бұрын
So, that Armored Core fight clip... he's struggling because he didn't use the 'Stagger System' in the game at all. His build was fine, he never attacked the mech when it was in red mode. The systems overload state where you deal massive crit damage. Every enemy in the game can get overloaded, a good stat to track on weapons is their Impact rating, which triggers overload faster. Then a follow up weapon with a high Direct Hit bonus. So, shotguns are decent in both, hence their popularity. Alternatively, Grenade launchers have even higher impact, while melee and bazookas have big Direct Hit bonus. A rapid fire weapon maintains the stagger bar while you fight for positioning. Some fights involve a lot of cover, making weapons like missiles great. Other fights have very narrow attack opportunities, requiring a sniper styled approach. Same dynamic works the other way, some bosses put out massive AOE system shocks, having a light frame will mean youll get two shot. while others have a giant lazer beams that you're better off dodging, so a quick build. There's a great variety.

only recently started watching the show and like it quite a bit! i wanted to briefly say, on the topic of crimson desert/BDO, that BDO used to be very heavily p2w in it's first few years. twoish years ago, the studio developing the game got rid of their NA/EU publisher and the p2w aspect has changed quite significantly since then. several QoL updates, a number of f2p friendly overhauls and changes, as well as general 'just make the game fun to play' updates have come out since then. the current f2p experience is largely identical to the semi p2w experience, and this was no where near true in the past.

After 2 playthrus, BG3 Act3 still feels like it's actually 2 acts. Act 3 is good but Act 4 is garbo. Because Act 4 got dissolved into a thin layer of frosting and squirted on top of Act 3. I define Act 4 as starting when you've exhausted the general sidequests and only have the Big 2 bads left. Everything from that point feels like they threw it together in the last few weeks of development. But damn if I'm not ready to do another origin run.
