In all honesty I predicted the release of an M&L RPG 6 for a while. Mostly due to Nintendo still owning the series and it's previous games like Superstar Saga getting Virtual Console releases even after the so called hiatus. Nintendo never lost the rights to M&L. I don't know why people though the series died in the first place. Also this is probably going to be the first M&L game to be able to be played on the big screen. It's good to remember the Switch isn't just the successor to the 3DS but the Wii-U as well. It's a hybrid console that can be played on the big screen. If you can play M&L 6 on the TV that would be making great history. So well here I am to say. I told you so. None of you believed me but M&L RPG 6 is now real. I called it.

This is literally the most beautiful way to end the Mario and Luigi series (excluding remakes) 1:20 is so freaking beautiful and definitely was the single best of this song and it's the climax while starting from 1:09 building the tension. I actually dream one day that Kingdom Hearts will have some optional boss where Bowser is possessed by Xehanort because of this comment. And the reward is being able to use Bowser as a Summon. I would buy Kingdom Hearts 4 just for that. And it makes sense since Square Enix has published KH games in Nintendo systems before. It could work in the same way as Skylanders SuperChargers, as some sort of Nintendo exclusive.

There are no bad mario and luigi game because of two main reasons: First of all: if the game turned into an adventure game instead of an RPG. Then it would succeed because these games are one whole world. And that situation is important to an adventure game Second of all: mario and luigi games are always extremely packed with endless and endless dialog. It never feels empty.. it feels like a full body with organs in it! I know this is off topic.. but these 2 reasons are why sticker star and color splash failed... these games are adventure games NOT rpgs.. they turned em into adventure but failed to create a whole open world. They made a world map and that doesnt suit an rpg.. nor an adventure game! That is just not the fit! An adventure game has to be one whole world or at least like mario odyssey where you have a whole "kindom" map that features few humongous worlds to explore! They failed to motivate you to check every corner for secrets and failed miserably to motivate YOU to even adventure on! Since of the lack of dialogue and quests that motivates you to press on and explore! If anything they made a whole new game category with sticker star and color splash! At least color splash is more motivational... and i value it enough to replay it some day

A combination of two of my favorite Mario spin-offs? Well, it wasn't all too grand but holy heck, I still spent hours on this game and loved the heck outta it! Too bad we won't be getting another Mario and Luigi game unless another company takes it over but what are the possibilities of that happening? Oh well, all we can do is enjoy the games Alphadream has given us and cherish them.

Even though the game wasn't popular, You have to admit, This battle proved that Bowser has learned all the past battles, He learn to backstab the other villain before they have the chance of using him as a vessel, He learned to never if there's a another version of himself to take it out as soon as possible. (When he first met Paper Bowser.). He learned to embrace the idea of fusion, and what better partner to fuse with than himself? He even learned to respect his enemies, No longer does he disregard Luigi, he's now just as much of a rival as Mario, Bowser's enemy isn't just Mario now it's the Mario brothers. Paper Bowser, though not as much of a villain as prime Bowser but you can see how he's influenced by his 3D counterpart, Notice how he's always trying not to be overshadowed by prime Bowser often trying to remind Bowser that they are partners in this but both know they they are only teaming up to get rid of Paper Mario and the Mario brothers once that is done they will trap the heroes as well with each other in Paper Mario's world and then burn that world. That's right Paper Bowser just went full on Dimentio.

I see the mario and luigi series of games as a redemption arc for bowser for that universe because at the start in superstar saga and up until he saved the kingdom with the bros in inside story did he mainly get cast aside or possessed most of the time and looked pathetic but in dream team he finally seems like he's getting better at it while working with antasma then ends up getting betrayed by him right at the end and then finally realizes he can't work with any one of these guys anymore then proceeds to finally come into his own ending off the games with paper jam. That's atleast how I like to see it as my own head canon of him coming far in his journey and finally having the balls to take on the bros fully by paper jam and not giving a damn by then with how many times in the past he had been betrayed or seen as weak by the other villains. RIP ALPHADREAM YOU WILL BE MISSED!

the first time I completed this game, I had no clue what was going on and decided to use the trio hammer when bowser had all the armor on and then I just got annihilated when he pulled out his hammer. such great times back in 2016 (that's when the game came out in USA)
