In all the years of the £1 coin change I have never seen a new £1 coin with a different design

I kid you not, a 1917 one penny with George 5th on the obverse in change. I can only presume to be passed of as a two pence. Can’t really think of any good finds this year, 2025 will be the year for that

thats an incredible find. ive had a few euro cent coins mainly the 5 euro cent. always nice to find old coins and world coins in change 👌

No amazing finds this year Dan, but, I managed to buy 9 x Salmon 50p's for £2.75 each , well before the mintage figures were released- & swapped x3 (post mintage figures) for a great condition Tosha Cat 🐈 😊
