I am an artist of various mediums and I agree, there is a huge difference between drawing inspiration from someone's work and outright copying, I was in Red Deer in the summer doing a filigree silver jewelry course; I inspired another student to make a tree of life out of filigree. The tree of life has been around forever, but I inspired her and she did not make hers like mine. I liked the fact that I helped inspire the other student!

17:07 - That's really cool! I always kinda mixed and matched dif bands from dif places. But my main focus was to rep bands that not only influence me but bands as well as other symbols and designs that reflect me personally i.e. PBR, skateboards and Garbage Pail Kids pins as they represent my childhood interests or drink preferences etc. But I def like the idea of rep'n mainly local bands as to create awareness in the scene and whatevs.

yessss! so much warmer with out all the holes directly through! Also, less layers to stud! You can sew the bottom up or glue it, whichever you feel most inclined to do.

8:15 - I've always wanted to glue my pins, but if/when the need to wash my jacket would be necessary, I'd hate to ruin em...which I've done in the past when I didn't remove them. Idk what kinda fabric my jacket is but it's def not denim or leather... it's kinda the same fabric as Dickies pants but def not canvas. Anyway, I suppose that's why I would tend to wash my jacket but only like every 5 years or so lol. But yea, I really would like to glue my pins cuz a few of em are sorta vintage and I'd be very upset if I lost em at a show or whatever. Anyway, I appreciate the hot glue advice...perhaps I'll give that a try. Thanx punker peeps🤘😜

I would suggest opening the side seam of the lining because holes in leather dont close
@Livingdeadgirll

People can try if they'd like, we do the bottom because justin sews for a living and has not trouble hitting the same holes. If you sew by hand its also not too hard!

Amazing advice thank you. Id love to know how you acid wash black jeans so they are black with white acid bleach marks. Most my bleached clothes come up a wonderful halloween orange but ive always wondered how super punks get that white mark instead of orange.
@Livingdeadgirll
@Livingdeadgirll 5 жыл бұрын
I think my best advice for bleaching is to wait for a nice sunny day! I leave my freshly bleached clothes out in the sun to almost "develop"! I have also found it really depends on what fabric you are using. Some types of fabrics bleach a bright red! Some go instantly white! I have yet to figure out the rhyme or rule to this though!

Do spikes easily tear faux leather, because of the holes you have to put in the leather? And do also spikes exist with prongs or do spikes with screws only exist?
