You are inspiring me in regards to having so many decks, I have spent a lot of money. But it tracks with mt ADHD and impulsive or hyper fixation. I am overwhelmed with the amount of decks I have. Again. I plan to go through my decks this weekend and separate the decks I think I want to get rid of. Put them away. And wait a year. Lol.

Omg yes adhd and hyper fixations are real! I also find myself shopping online when i'm stressed.... Work in progress! I just donated a lot of decks and filled up another box this week and i don't even want to think about how much money i've wasted!!!!! Lol live and learn, right?? :p happy im not alone though!! We'll make it through ;)

I feel the same as you. I have a banker's box full, plus more that I wasn't ready to declutter the first go through. I just purchased the Green Witch oracle and will be returning it right back. The cards aren't numbered, and aren't in alphabetical order in the guidebook. What was the creator thinking? I refuse to go through 40 pages, trying to find the card I pulled. So disappointed because the cards are beautiful. I could take them to Half Price books where they'll pay me pennies on the dollar, donate and get maximum tax write off, or sell, which is a hassle, and I don't want to deal with people. 😂😂😂 I rarely buy decks anymore, as I really only use a few go to decks that I love. I keep hoping I'll try again with the decks I don't use, but I never do. If I have a few decks that work great, why do I need more? I'm a reader, not a collector, so my other decks can go to those who will appreciate them, or who collect! Now you've motivated me to take that box to charity. Thank you! 😂❤

Yesss take that box to charity! Haha wow i'm honored to have inspired you to do so :) im buying less and less decks to focus on decks i know i love. Yeahh a deck could have beautiful art but if the execution of the deck (cardstock-guidebook etc) doesn't work for me then I won't use it. Why keep it? It is super disappointing sometimes. Like i just bought an indie deck..paid good money for it.. to realise that the cards are buttery texture, nice to the touch sure but hell to shuffle cause the cards all stick together anddd the guidebook doesnt provide any info on the cards.. i have to go online for the messages! I'm really disappointed cause the art really speaks to me.

lmao when you said "most ugly weird deck" about the quest Tarot I feel it 😂 I recently rediscovered it in my stash (sealed for like 19 years) I bought it around 2005 and thought the artwork was cool but never opened it until a couple months back, I looked at the artwork and it does not age well at all 😂 my aesthetic has completely changed since then and unfortunately can't resonate with the artwork

I feel like you didn’t even give them a chance for a lot of decks! Which is a shame because there could have been some decks that might be really great readers for you but you were not trying with them. I just hope you learned something through all this and that you really put the effort into any new deck you get in the future and also if there were something that the universe says would be good for you, finds it’s way back to you when you will be more receptive to it.

Yes I've grown a lot through this experience. I got caught up into the whole buying a bunch of decks lol and now im dealing with the aftermath. It's a process. Ive never decluttered decks I regret rehoming because I know myself pretty well like what works for me and what doesnt. I have a few decks ive kept over the years that i don't use atm because i know it's not our time yet. Personally i thought it was the perfect timing to share my abundance with some strangers by donating decks i dont vibe with during the holidays. I hope they made someone's day!!
